No, you should pick up a Bible and read it for yourself...

No. A person should believe that the bible is GOD's words when they are led by the Holy Spirit to do so.
Without my relationship with Jesus the bible is just a book and I would be reading anything but that. The Bible is GOD's word because it is GOD's word. It has been the main source of communication from GOD to me. I find that scripture pops up in all sorts of daily situations and in almost every concern I have about anything. Truly magical and awesome.

The Holy Bible are about people and what they saw and heard . I always had some doubt if all of was true. The last three years something changed my mind when we moved into a house that had something very evil in it this experience led me to read the Bible in more depth it is amasing what this book tells you about the Supernatural this book made alot of sense after what i had seen and experienced I BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE this inspired me to write a book about the Supernatural. my book is called Running from Evil. the Bible has sold millions of books all over the world there is never been a book written that has outsold the Bible it is THE good Book!

I believe the Bible truely IS God's WORD,
because it contains over 300 prophesies
which have come-true for one thing.
I have not found any errors or lies within the Bible.
Many have tried unsuccessfully to discredit the Bible.
For example, the Bible prophesied that the nation
of Israel would once again become a nation.
For many years, the Jews have been scattered all
over the earth, with no-place to call home.
yet on May 14th, 1948, the nation of Israel
became a nation once again.
This is just one of many examples I could give you.

I would have to say that if you are a child and you are taught by loving parents the way to live your life and that includes the Bible as Gods word. Then you really have no choice. In adulthood and in some cases before. The responsibility then shifts to you. It is a personal choice whether and what to question. I take this position as a mother who is Atheist. I want my children to explore whatever they choose to.

Yes, people should believe that the bible is "God's" words, not just because people say so we should believe because God said it was. Its something you have to experience in your heart to understand.

People should believe that the bible is the word of GOD because they are too naive to believe otherwise. They should believe because history has shown that if you refuse the nonsensical tyranny that the bible preaches, you will be cleansed from the earth, aka. killed, as in genocide/jihad/crusade/murdering rampage - look up those words and you will find the different reasonings to the same end result.

IF you define truth as the word of god, no need to continue this discussion. You win everything. Your mother must be very proud. Congratulations!

If you have the ability to see more than black and white, you are on a good path to enlightenment and continued growth in your life. You will never find the truth, that is, the ultimate question to life, the universe, and everything. However, you can live a happy life and enjoy the time in between birth and death.

True spirituality is finding harmony with one's self. Why would one look to external sources for true happiness and spiritual development?

Of course not. You should believe because multiple prophecies made thousands of years in advance were fulfilled despite the enormous odds against them. God has proven His Word. It's up to you to research it and accept the truth for what it is. Lots of former atheists have done JUST THAT.

why should people not believe that the Bible is God's words just because some people say so?

Make up your own mind, believe in what you want, stand up for yourself and accept the consequences that come with it no matter what they are!

No, understanding of the scriptures prove it is the knowledge of God. There is knowledge in the Bible that people didn't know about that stuff back then particularly that these people were not all great philosphers or thinkers and discoverers but rather just humble men.
Quarantine of diseases (Lev 1:1-59)
Hygene (Deut 23:12-14)
Earth being in space on nothingness (Job 26:7)
Earth a circle (Isaiah 40:22)

The myths and legends of civilisations back in the Bible days were completely at odds to the knowledge that we know as proven fact today. That knowledge of disease preventation when knobody knew anything about germs or how the earth looked from space was only something that God knew.

To some people no matter what proof is given it is never enough for them. God cannot exist he will not exist they say in their hearts.
Psalm 10:4
. . .The wicked one according to his superciliousness makes no search; All his ideas are: “There is no God.”
