I live alone. me and my gf are taking a break. i dont have many friends to hang out with. I am parapalygic and cant drive my car till they put hand controls on it. NOTHING ever goes my way. Im so depressed and I am tired of living this way. I dont understand what i did to deserve all of this. This is how my life has been for a LONG time now.

God doesn't do this to you, and there are many struggles that we have to get past. I, myself have many struggles, and I'm not a legal adult yet! Don't blame this on Him, he wouldn't like that because it wasn't His fault.

Take a trip to church and get in touch with Him again.

You need to be thankful for the things that you have that other people don't.

1) A car - that works, for that matter.
2) A roof over your head.
3) Food
4) Water
5) Clothing
6) A medical device that helps you get around (wheelchair, etc.)
7) You have some friends.
8) A computer.

I'm sure there's a lot more. Many people in this world don't have any of those things, or barely a a few like shelter and food.

Talk to your girlfriend, maybe she's missing something, too?

God didn't do anything to you. Our lives are what we make of them and how we choose to react to what happens to us. Blaming God only keeps you in a place of self-pity and anger. He didn't make your gf leave, he didn't cause you to be parapalygic. Instead, be thankful that you'll be able to drive a car. That you're alive even though you apparently had a traumatic event that crippled your legs. Be thankful that there's a chance you'll get back together with your girlfriend and that "a break" means that you're not completely cut apart from each other.

God gives us what we need to survive, and it's called instinct and strength and courage and patience and a strong will. He gives us to tools meet all of our needs, we just have to be willing to do the work. If you want things to magically be fixed, then you need to rub a magic lamp and hope a geni pops out.

Chris, wait a minute.

sounds like you have or have had a girlfriend.
sounds like at least you have a few friends
sounds like you are planning on getting a car with hand controls
sounds like you can use the computer
sounds like you have all your brain....

you have a lot to thankful for, friend. some people don't have any friends, have no chance of driving cause they are blind, can't use a computer cause they don't even have electricity, etc etc

You do have reasons to be thankful...

We all have challenges, Chris. We all have things we have to deal with in life.

Happiness cannot be counted on just because you are rich or famous or strong or gifted..... Lots of times those are the people who are the most miserable!

Happiness comes from knowing God and loving God.

email me if you wish to discuss... I'd be glad to help....

god bless

Chris.. i am sorry you feel that way about life.. struggles are a part of it for all of us, you know..you really are not all that alone. There are things you can do to get people to come round..but to do that you have to call a few places and find out where there are people with similar problems to your own.. so you all get together sometime and compare notes..maybe help each other out and so on. Once you can share how you feel with others whose problems are similar to yours.. you will feel lighter and so will they. It works that way for most people. If there is no such group around.. see about asking your doctor if he could kinda ask around the other patients to see if anyone would be interested in setting up a work group whose interests go round paraplegia and maybe set up a workshop of somekind ( free of course ) to get those people together for moral support and maybe even literal help arranging things to make it easier for most of you if not all.

We have groups such as this in our city . The people usually have similar problems.. burn victims... paraplegics .. deaf.. etc.. and the groups meet for free at each others houses and apartments and so on. Everyone pitches in to bring food and drinks.

You never know , Chris.. you could get so good at helping others see past their flesh ..that they could see all the way to God one day. Get good at public speaking soon, Chris. I have this feeling you are going to help many people .

Do not blame God for your Paraplygic. To be debiliatated by spinal injury is horrendous. If we blame God the pain simply becomes more acute. They are many who have gained the use of thie spine and miraculously walked again. But a firm resolute faith is essential to emabrak upon this path.

God reigns not Alone, For Satan has his place in the hearts and minds of the people too.

He too must bemoan his misfortune at having created man, who niether abides by his laws or disciplines but brings instead all his angst to Gods door in their hour of need, as Satan and his Prostitute laugh.

We torment him with our woes, and ail his heart when we stumble and falter. He reaps the seeds of Satans Sins.

Be Strong in heart. Place your faith in your own abilities to overcome this great adversity and injury that has befallen you. Believe in the formidable power of th espirit within your to overcome this hour of trial, when passed will be as theblink of an eye in Eternity.

Strength, Health, Peace And Love....

Just when you think things can't get any worse, they DO!

But just wait it out... things always get worse before they get better.

I wouldn't blame God - I would focus on something that is going right - even if it is only a small thing.

Focusing on the positive is essential to obtaining more of it.

Good Luck Mate!

(What city do you live in? I would hang out with you if you leaved near me... maybe someone in your area is also bored or lonely?)

Chris, God is not doing this. I can't say why but this situation is happening because it can show you something that you need to see.

No one can tell you what it is. You need to find it for your self. I wish that I could help.

Good luck.
