your mind. That is washing it. Then we are to obey His Word & follow after the leading of the Holy Spirit. So? When we disobey, God allows the devil to scare us. So? Then we need to obey or else the devil scares us. (Submit to God, resist satan & satan flees.)

Doesn't it seem God is brain washing us to obey Him & change our behaviors? That we love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul & strength? That we give our everything to God, all our secrets too?

Then He tells us what is happening in the future (like at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb) & we can't change it but conform to Gods plan?

Does it make sense to use religion to deny advances in science just because it doesn't fit into what the Bible says? Wasn't that what the Dark Ages fostered?

this has happened to him before one time a few years ago. he feels that it is a bad presence and it holds him down. he also said that he could not breathe or move. what could this possibly be? is there a logical explanation?

What a miracle it is. To go to Heaven you must be born of the flesh and the Spirit. A rebirth Spiritually means confessing your sins to Jesus, admitting that you are a sinner, and asking him to come into your heart and save you and make you a child of God. Will you do that today? Will you accept a Spiritual Rebirth today. Just bow your head and humbly ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sins and come into your life and save you. Tell Jesus that you believe he died on a Cross for you and that you want him to be your Lord and Saviour.

La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasulallah......

I know many people who just recite it occasionally. My day begins and ends by reciting it and the meaning of my life revolves around it.

I've been doing some research on the both of them and so far this sums up what I know:
The Flying Spaghetti Monster is an advocate against Intelligent Design, while the Invisible Pink Unicorn is a phrase that atheist's may use (this is based off of wikipedia and yahoo!answers so forgive me if any details are incorrect) in response to those who believe in God.

I also understand a few finer details (such as who created them, who "follows" them, etc.) but I would like to know what the major difference between them is.

Thanks to all who contribute!

every religion offers its own accounts, testimonies, "reliable" deity-authored texts, and (above all) miracles. so why do you guys pick christianity over all the others?

I just need to share this as I am so full of excitement I cant stand to hold it in.I was in such a dry weary place,an aquantance from my daughters school was just diagnosed with pancraitic cancer.I really felt the need to pray with her the day before her surgery. We went to breakfast and I was overcome by the feelings of her dy8ing as the doctors said she would at best have 5 to 6 years if the cancer was contained to her pancreas, mind you they did a biopsy and confirmed cancer was invading her pancreas. So we enjoyed each other and went to her car for prayer,I only prayed what i know that is by Jesus stripes she is whole and that the doctors would be used by God to be part of this miracle she so needed.Well they did the surgery friday morning and there was NO CANCER to be found.I cannot hold this excitement in,her and I will celebrate this miracle I just want to let you know to never cease from believing God still wants to move in our midst.Be encouraged even when you do not feel you can

I've seen online websites attempting to sell people spells. SPELLS!!! They offer to cast spells for you. OK, it's one thing if you believe in magic, but how do I know they're not just saying they're casting spells while they really just take the money and do nothing for it? And who could prove it either way?

Anyway, that sounds like a load of crap, but back to the topic. Do you think magic is real? How is it possible? I'm very analytical. I've read lots about Wicca, the Occult, and I have some theories on the topic (especially demonology) but I still have my reservations. What do you think?

If not I will have to be content with being a good atheist person, but a bad Christian.

Thanks to Henry VIII and his antics I'm christened in the Church of England denomination. I think they are fairly lax nowdays anyway.

I just wonder - if God wants all his children to get to heaven, why would he make only one true church? It seems to me, that he would make religion available to the masses so that we all have a chance. I am way off base?
