Do not worry. You were never baptized. The Bible has a definition of Baptism based upon the meaning of the word Baptizo (to dip), the place they were baptized, and the symbolic act of dying, being buried and raising from the dead.
Don't sweat it. You are not saved, you have not been baptized, and soon you will get your wish. You will be separated from God for all Eternity. If this is what you are looking for, then do not change a thing.

You don't have to worry about it, you never were baptized, this is why water baptism has nothing to do with God. Only the baptism of the Holy Spirit saves your soul, and if you would have gotten that, you wouldn't be here today asking this question believe me. When Jesus moves into your heart its an awesome feeling. Supernatural. Divine. You've never had it. You could though, Jesus died on that cross for everyone, he washed away our sins, but to get the real baptism of the heart it takes a transformation. A repentent and contrite heart. A heart that is sorry for its done, that wants all its sins washed away. Do you have that heart, Do you have the faith to even believe in Jesus. You have faith everyday you know. When you get up every morning and go to school or work don't you believe you are coming back. When you eat do you think that it will not poisen you and that you will live to eat or sleep again. That takes some faith, if it didn't you wouldn't leave the house and you would starve yourself to death. All Jesus's ask that you have faith that he is who the Bible says He is. The Son of the Living God. He asks that you show that faith by commiting your life to him, by publicly admitting to the world you are a Believer, if you would like to get started just pray this prayer and confess everything to Jesus, and he will lead you the rest of the way, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

No sense in looking at being unbaptized. Baptism alone does NOTHING for you. Repent, then confession of sins to God (not a priest), and accepting Him as your savior is what does it. Baptism is solely an act of obedience. When the Bible talks about baptism for the remission of sin, it is the baptism through the holy spirit, not water in a tub or stream. Only God can forgive sins, not priests or baptism. So your baptism meant nothing. You are safe to go on as an atheist, atleast until you die and stand judgment. Denial will do nothing for you then. I don't know why you want to be an atheist. I am sorry you are choosing that route, but respect your decision to do your thing as no-one can force you to accept the Lord Jesus Christ.

Baptism didn't make you a Christian. Only accepting the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ can do that. So, if you ever decide accept Him, don't be confused about what baptism is. It is good to do once you are saved, but it does not save you or make you a Christian. It is a symbolic action to show the world that you have buried the old you, and will now be living for Christ.

BAPTISM
The Greek ba′pti·sma refers to the process of immersion, including submersion and emergence; it is derived from the verb ba′pto, meaning “dip.” (Joh 13:26) In the Bible, “to baptize” is the same as “to immerse.” In illustration of this, The Holy Bible, An Improved Edition, renders Romans 6:3, 4 as follows: “Or, are ye ignorant, that all we who were baptized (immersed) into Christ Jesus were baptized (immersed) into his death? We were buried therefore with him through our baptism (immersion) into his death.” (See also Ro; ED.) The Greek Septuagint uses a form of the same word for “dip” at Exodus 12:22 and Leviticus 4:6. (See NW ftns.) When one is immersed in water, one is temporarily “buried” out of sight and then lifted out.
We shall consider four different aspects of baptism, together with related questions: (1) John’s baptism, (2) water baptism of Jesus and his followers, (3) baptism into Christ Jesus and into his death, (4) baptism with fire.
So, which baptim are you referring to ?

I stand with Faye on this one. You don't have to worry about being considered a Christian, dear one. But when you're ready, God will still be waiting with open arms.

I was baptized when I was younger, too. I think it's enough to just state that you're an atheist, but having an official recognition of your atheism would be kind of cool. We need more rituals and whatnot to bring us together as a group and help us feel a sense of community and support among each other.
