The Flying Spaghetti Monster proves it's existence every time I eat pasta; I've never seen an incarnation of an of an invisible pink unicorn... I don't believe it exists... so the Flying Spaghetti Monster would win by default. RAmen!

As I have mentioned before I have already defeated the FSM argument in one of my prior questions. When I asked if any of those who believed wold be willing to testify in court and take a lie detector and chance purgering themselves, they all within a short time period admitted thy knew it wasn't real. As for it being an argument against intelligent design it is most like being advanced who have never bothered to read a book written by an intelligent design theorist which I should add have a number (whether they like it or not) peer reviewed scientists. If they had read and stayed up on the topic they would have figured that out. But most don't go past Reading the criticism levelled by their favourite detractor. In order to best understand and properly critique an argument it is imperative to read the authors works in their own words not in someone Else's caricature. The flying pnk Uncorn could be dissembeled in the same manner. The bible makes o mention of flying or pink unicorns. All we can say about a unicorn is that it is a single horned animal. No mention of horses. A rhinocerous could be classified as a unicorn.

Are you saying you can't make a difference between a Flying Spaghetti Monster and an Invisible Pink Unicorn? :)

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is a parody of the Intelligent Design movement.
The Invisible Pink Unicorn is a parody of faith-based beliefs in general.
That's the major difference, in my opinion.

The FSM is a parody of organized religion- such as the graph the FSM uses to show cause and effects- the lack of pirates causing global warming.
The invisible pink unicorn is where atheists say that you believe in something that doesn't exist.
Believe it or not, "Jedi Knight" is now listed as an offical religion- simply because in the 2000 national census, over 200,000 people said "Jedi" when asked what they believed in!

The IPU is invisible, pink and a unicorn. The FSM is a monster made of spaghetti. The FSM has his own story of creation. That's about all I can think of.

FSM was concieved to should the problems with teaching unproved hypothesis as science theory.
Unicorns, pink, invisible or otherwise are mythical creatures that rational people accept as nonexistent, but there is no way to prove that they don't exist. This is an illustration of two things, one we need evidence to accept that a thing exists, and two you don't prove that something doesn't exist, you prove that it does.
Generally you use an ' to indicate possevie form not plural i.e. the plural of atheist is atheists.

Uh - hello! The FSM is REAL while the IPU is made up by false prophets to mislead you from the FSM's eternal saucy love and salvation.
It's obvious to anybody with discernment who reads the FSM's holy words!

I chuckle in laughter because I find it most interesting that some are looking for a replacement religion.
