Thank you Lord for healing this young woman.
Sometimes, we don't receive miracles because we don't pray together and ask just like the two of you did. People are afraid to do what you did because they are afraid that God will not answer their prayer. We should believe what we ask will be granted to us. We should always realize that God doesn't answer every prayer as we want it answered, but He does answer it.
Continue praying with people for God's healing and God's blessings. Have a blessed day!

John 12:37 ►New International Version (©2011) Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him John 12:40 "He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them." Jeremiah 4:22 ►New International Version (©2011) "My people are fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good." Isaiah 29:14 Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish." ◄ Ezekiel 18:23 ►New International Version (©2011) Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? Isaiah 55:2-9 6Seek the Lord while he may be found;call on him while he is near.7Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.8“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,neither are your ways my ways,”declares the Lord.9“As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Yes definitely. In fact, I've really seen the hand of God in my life throughout this year and I've been happy because this morning when i woke up to study the word of God, i decided to list all my answered prayers and to my amazement i filled a whole page because it just kept coming to me, even the things that I've forgotten i prayed about, i remembered praying for them and coming true. I really really thank God for my answered prayers this year. And this is the beginning of my testimony.

I tore three serious ligaments in my knee, they said I would not be able to play sports/run/be near 100% for two years of rehab, I was close in 8 months, no prayer required, I was just an unusually fast healer.
They did surgery and it did what it often does, got rid of cancer? You call that a miracle? The people of Africa by and by have the largest religiosity of any peoples, they pray all the time, but yet they are still plagued with all kinds of diseases.
Quite sad that people believe in this stuff when they could be helping others in a productive way.

Yes I do believe in the power of prayer. I know that nothing is to hard for God. He can do all things. And I can do all things do Jesus Christ who's strengthens me. If you just believe and trust in him all things are possible. God Bless. And continue to pray not only for your situation, but for you.

The article APPROACH TO GOD considers the position of Christ Jesus as the one through whom prayer is directed. Through Jesus’ blood, offered to God in sacrifice, “we have boldness for the way of entry into the holy place,” that is, boldness to approach God’s presence in prayer, approaching “with true hearts in the full assurance of faith.” (Heb 10:19-22) Jesus Christ is therefore the one and only “way” of reconciliation with God and approach to God in prayer.—Joh 14:6; 15:16; 16:23, 24; 1Co 1:2; Eph 2:18;
So, yes I do believe in the power of prayer.

My brother in Christ, why are we so surprised when we see miracles? We have them everyday. I have also seen the power of prayer work. Prayer is Faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. Praise the Lord. Thank you Lord for your grace. Thank you Lord for saving us. Thank you Lord for the way to come to you in Prayer. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. Thank you Lord for showing us daily of your love for us. Thank you, My Lord and Savior. amen

Thank you Lord for healing this girl. When ever a healing happens for someone who I also prayed for, I get excited. Even though others don't like to give God all the Glory.
I will say, "Thank you Lord for healing my friend. Thank you for hearing our prayers.".
Tourist in mind, Why do you think no one prayed for you. I suspect someone was praying for you to have a quick recovery. As I pray for others for this too. Please, thank God for the quick recovery.

Does prayer work? Depends on your perspective- if you pray to God "Let YOUR will be done" then what will happen, will be by Gods will, not ours.
If we pray "Let OUR will be done" and then it doesn't happen- whos really in control of our lives?
