Luke 20: 34-36 "Answering to them, neither can they die any more for they are equal unto the angels. and are the children of God being the children of the resurrection. Clearly stating here more proof of who he was, right?

While the majority of Americans believe in God - The majority of Australians do not. The Pope himself has called Australia the most unreligious country in the world (A fact I'm quite proud of).

So what are your views on death? A lot of people cite death as their greatest fear, even though they believe in an afterlife. I on the other hand (as an Athiest/Agnostic) believe this...

"Life is an adventure, death is just the next one."

Unlike religious folk who are sure of what comes next (heaven - depending of course on your religious denomination) I have no clue what comes after death, thats why for me theres nothing to fear.

Wouldn't that be hypocritical?

I am female and graduating from Berkeley. Need to know my career direction, but no university counselor can possibly know what I need to know. I would've been a priest if I was Catholic and male, but instead, I'm female, pagan and really desiring to spiritually lead people, especially youths. I feel this is where my talent lies, yet, I hate to say, I need a profession out of this (money). What options do I have? I can't bring myself to even go Unitarian, as it is too related to Christianity.

My earliest remembrance is from when I was about the age of 2. In this memory I was playing in my mum and dad’s bedroom, they joked with me and gave me an Easter egg.

Please pick one of the following interpretations ("A" or "B") as most important. If you want to contribute to the discussion (& aim for the 10 points), also say why.

A. The Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is literally true. The story tells how the earth was formed, how life began, and how evil entered into creation. The narrative is only helpful to human beings if we interpret the biblical creation story as the history of interactions between God and humans in the past.

B. The Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is a metaphor. It teaches that each of us has been given a paradise that we spoiled when we gave into temptation. The narrative is only helpful if we can identify with Adam and Eve in our present lives, and their historic existence is ultimately immaterial.

So similar to the story of Marduk giving the code to Hammurabi king of Babylon? Except the story of Hammurabi is several hundred years older and we have cuneform tablets of this that still exist?

Earlier collections of laws include the codex of Ur-Nammu, king of Ur (ca. 2050 B.C.E.), the Codex of Eshnunna (ca. 1930 B.C.E.) and the codex of Lipit-Ishtar of Isin (ca. 1870 B.C.E.).

I don't agree with praying as a group outloud...but if you take away a moment of silence where there is the CHANCE to pray or meditate or whatever...isnt that taking away freedom of religion?

According to Krishna, no one else has ever seen his true form:

To grace you, Arjuna,
I revealed
through self-discipline
my higher form,
which no one but you
has ever beheld -
brilliant, total,
boundless, primal

Not even the gods:

This form you have seen
is rarely revealed;
the gods are constantly craving
for a vision of this form

What could Krishna's reasons be?

Has anyone ever gotten a virus from a e-mail saying a person wants to connect to you? I think I got one today. It was from a Kait who wanted to connect to me as a friend. As soon as I clicked on the mail my computer went nuts and said someone was logged on my computer other than me.
