Nope, I don't give people a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down. It's a waste of time, and has no other bearing aside from the fact that they know someone, but they don't know who, disliked their answer. It's a waste of time, I think.

I don't do that. But a lot of Christians give me thumbs down when I write that I am a Muslim. I read a reply and if it's good a thumbs up if it's bad a thumbs down.

I don't use the thumbs up/down function all that much. And if I do thumbs down an answer, it'll be because it's a rude or insulting one. Religion isn't a factor for me. Cut and paste answers get thumbs down from me as well. But that's about it.

Of course nobody is going to admit to something like that, even though we all know there are people from every group (save Buddhists) who do so. I can't say I am completely unbiased when it comes to thumbs up/ thumbs down, but I do thumbs down Atheist remarks that are rude and stupid, and thumbs up insiteful remarks from Christians. Spam deserves thumbs down regardless of what it says.

As a Non Christian, I am aware of the teachings of both traditional orthodox and fundamentalist teaching that Jesus is the promised Messiah but at the same time seem to forget that Jesus is a teacher through his parables ... and the many lessons that could be learned through using the methods he used ... [12 disciples together with the master to create a strong unifified Master mind as discuused in Napoleon Hill's writings.
One might also look at Wallace D. Wattles fine book 'The new Jesus' as well as Dr. Russell Conwell's Acres Of Diamonds - both can be found on the internet.]

No, not generally. If it is very silly or arrogant, maybe.
I usually just thumbs up clever answers that either make me laugh or present a new idea.
I have better things to do than to decipher the faith of a person and thumbs down them for it.

I read their answers and give a thumb up when it makes sense to me, and give a thumb down when they answer something like Read the bible or it's in the bible, or when they went as far as justifying all the killings in the bible made in the name of the biblical god..

I only thumbs down long copy & paste answers, regardless if they are a Christian, atheist, or else. If you cannot give an opinion without reverting to essays, you're lame.

Only if it's a bad or totally inappropriate answer to the question. It's certainly not a knee-jerk response to the answerer being Christian - that'd defeat the whole purpose of the rating system.

I don't give thumbs down just because someone is Christian. I will give a thumbs down for rude, false, totally ignorant or insulting, or huge cut-n-paste answers. Doesn't matter what faith they are.
