He had to get the keys from the devil, what like take them off the night stand while the devil was sleeping? LOL! Sorry I had to..... you know what thats fine, you can take that for what you like, for me it means he is not risen, and from what I read in the last part it was right after he died so you say, that he rose. I wonder what Judas has to say about all this huh, oh ya he supposidly hung from some tree from seeing the Jinn. LOL unreal

Did he have a black hat and a cane? I think I seen him on old BW strip. I am sure it was him now, but I didn't see any holes in his feet or hands so that is odd still yet to me. Funny mustache though, funny guy for sure! :)

He said this after his resurrection.

Jesus died and rested in the grave for parts of 3 days. He did not "ascend to the Father" till after the resurrection and the time spent on earth appearing to his apostles and disciples.

But I agree with you..... he didn't die on a cross....

Indeed, it was only after Jesus ascended to our Heavenly Father did the promise of the Holy Spirit be made available, freely and to all those who have faith in Jesus.

Do you believe that you too can receive the free gift of becoming a child of God and the Holy Spirit? Or are you afraid??

Peace,
Andrew

Some kind of weird rule that we, until that point, were unaware of. Something Earthly DARING to touch the Immortal One? (Perhaps)
Something may have hurt the one who came too close? (As when Moses beheld the Face of God, he nearly died of joy)

Most likely #2 speculation. Perhaps you may think of another reason why He may have said that.

He had, at this point, already experienced death. He was newly resurrected. The Ascension occurred 40 days later.

Where in the world did you get from that scripture that Jesus did not die on the cross? It says that "I have not yet ascended".Ascend means to go or move up word; to go from a lower to a higher degree. to move or climb up word. Where in that does it say that He did not die on the cross? It meant that after He died, He arose from the grave and walked among the people, but He had not ascended in to Heaven yet.

Nonsense. Jesus said this AFTER He died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead. At this point He was appearing alive to various people but had not yet returned to heaven where He is today.

Do you believe what all John has written? IN the same book you can read how he suffered on the cross died and resurrected and now how he lives for you.

When Jesus died, he went to hell for three days to get the keys of death and hades back from satan, so he had not yet gone to heaven. He did die on the cross, and he was resurrected on the third day.

Why is it that people with no understanding of the Bible try to quote the Bible? Here is an idea if you are going to use the Bible try understanding it first.
