I am female and graduating from Berkeley. Need to know my career direction, but no university counselor can possibly know what I need to know. I would've been a priest if I was Catholic and male, but instead, I'm female, pagan and really desiring to spiritually lead people, especially youths. I feel this is where my talent lies, yet, I hate to say, I need a profession out of this (money). What options do I have? I can't bring myself to even go Unitarian, as it is too related to Christianity.

I don't know about too related to christianty. My sister goes to a Unitarian church where her pastor is Pagan. She is the only Asatru there but pretty much everyone else is some form of paganism.
They have earth studies groups and rituals every Sunday.
Maybe you should look into it a little more. Even if you are not 100% now, you have the opoturinty to change what you don't like if you are the church leader.

In Berkeley, you could ask around at the Spiral Steps groups or the Spiral Scouts. The two are non profit groups, but there might be others who can help you find what you are looking for.

The Unitarian groups arent related to Christianity...give them another shot - look up the nearest church online and look for a day that might interest you. Once you get there start networking!
Good luck to you and Goddess Bless

Why do you despise Christianity so much? Why not be a leader in the church? There are plenty of opportunities within the Christian church for ladies. Some of the greatest people I know are ladies that work in the church. Did you know that the Apostle Paul paid homage to the gals that served the Lord faithfully in the Roman churches? Women are immensely valued in the Christian church. I'm a youth pastor at a large church and our ministry has some of the most lovely and spiritual women leading our middle school age girls. Our ministry would be sunk without our women leaders, I would be toast!

Anyhow, I think you should reconsider.

There are quite a number of pagan clergy who do counseling, with both youths and adults, and especially in prisons.

YOu could become a counselor and then focus on the spiritual aspect of it.

Do what I did: become a professor.

I'm not a Pagan, I'm an Atheist, but I know I've shown more people the truth behind God than any minister in this city has.

This isn't a "wise crack" but a warning from God's own Word regarding people who want to be "spiritual leaders" apart from the Holy Spirit of God.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"

38 And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself."

If you repent and receive God's Holy Spirit you can be a spiritual leader of other women and children in the church of Christ our Lord.

Titus 2:3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

you might start doing some research on sites like witchvox.com or covenspace.com ..there are lots of people who have graduated or are continuing their educations and are pagan as well. even though covenspace is a social network, there still is a trove of experience to be found. lots of groups too. you'd be surprised who you meet and might find some good ideas to start with. :)

You could start some kind of organization for pagan youths. You can be an author, or a professor of religion.

Berkeley grad. and you're having a hard time finding a job? I never would have figured that! Based on the criteria you list I'd say you might look into: Working on a garbage truck. Blacksmith. Stage Coach driver. Wall Mart greater....scratch that one. You'd see a lot of people in all the above.
