Isn't disenfranchising all non-monotheists of the Abrahamic variety the very definition of dividing people?

Why should an atheist like Pat Tillman have died for a greedy, manipulative Christian-propagandist majority?

so if the bible is indeed the word of god, why were so many passages and books completely left out? who's to say what goes and what stays? were they left out simply because they may have seemed contradictory, or did they just not fit with what man deemed to be godly at the time? did those who edited the bible have the holy ghost working through them as well? was he working through them to say, "i don't like that part. take it out." it just doesn't make any sense for someone or something as perfect as god to make a book that needed editing, does it?

I am beginning to feel this way.
Romans 10:9 says, "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

It seems that too much attention is put on issues like homosexuality and whether women should be allowed to be ministers. Salvation is not dependent on what denomination you belong too. I think Christians the world over need to focus on what brings us together not what divides us. Anyone agree?

It is a religion like Christianity and Islam. Are people jealous because it is supported by influential people? If Tom Cruise had the same outburst on Oprah but was Methodist, would people have reacted just the same?

Many people that are believers in this man named, "Yehoshua [Jesus]" don't realize they been lied to since 325 CE/AD. This is because the "Catholics" seized power by means of the Emperor converting into their form of theology that was rapidly spreading from the minds of non-Jews who did not understand the faith and religion of Jesus, which is/was Judaism. In 325 AD the Nicene council took place in which the trinirtarians condemned all those that believed otherwise. Because the Emperor himself was ignorant to Jewish ways he was easily sifted into this false doctrine. Yet, because of him he made into Roman Law.

In truth, however, Jesus rebuked a man for merely calling him 'good.' Thus, denying he was God in the Flesh.

'As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 18And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. '

Now about the % of who and who do not represent God and Jesus. That is a constantly changing variable. Even some very good Christians are not always representing Christ. That is when later they repent to God and those individuals they infringed upon. And a good Christian forgives the same as God has forgiven their sins. A good christian is your average person who is learning. So not every Christian is on even keel. Some are ahead of their brothers and sisters while others may be behind. In all relgions this will be true and everyone makes mistakes as its human nature. The question is do we want to change or not. This is repentance. Jesus was calling people to repent and change their ways. He wanted to know the state of their heart or desire. Did they desire to be like his father (righesousness, peace, love, justice, help for the needy, spend time the sick in spirit) or did they desire their lusts more (selfishness, hate, condemn others by the law and then be imperfect them selves, lovers of injustice or revenge, care less for their brothers well being to satisfy them selves.) And by his Holy Ghost and Relationship with God he empowers them to make that change but they have to want it or all they will natualy server their lusts and of course some good. Its our imperfect nature that determines we need Gods forgiveness but if we reject his method of giving it out then we reject his salvation. Ultimately this is what makes the final decision and God is the ultimate judge in the end.

Its been a year since i have became an Atheist.
I have read a lot of articles and kind of pretty sure about what the idea exactly means, but i still have some doubts about the rules.
The doubts are the following -
*Am i allowed to use swears which involves the peoples imaginary friend "God" ?
Eg - God dammit ,Go to hell etc

*Am i allowed to say my age........ or should i hide it ??

*Could i celebrate my Birthday ??

*Atheism is characterized by an absence of belief in the existence of gods. What i want to know is that I also cant believe in angels and devils right(lol)?

*Must i change my birth certificates and other forums to legally prove that i am an atheist??

*Is it against the rules of atheism to insult god ??( i know its stupid to insult something that doesn't exist ,but i get kinda pissed when theists interfere with my beliefs)

* Is it okey to have superstitious beliefs ?

Let's be real about this. To believe that your religion is the truth is to believe that every other religion is not the truth. Stop the politically correct baby-talk and just admit it!

I keep hearing that atheists hate God, or do not want God to be real, or haven't searched earnestly.

Is it possible that some humans have honestly looked for God, found nothing, and concluded that he does not exist?

There seems to be many translations of the Tao available and I find it hard to choose one or two from such a large selection. I am interested first in accuracy, then helpfulness of commentary (if any) and finally in readability.

Evidence is mounting that a meteorite really did strike Peru last Saturday: A scientist from Peru's Geological, Mining and Metallurgical Institute says that a chondritic space rock lies at the bottom of the water-filled crater near the Peru-Bolivia border. In a related development, Peru's Regional Health Directorate reports an outbreak of dizziness, nausea and dermal injuries among people who have visited the impact site. The injuries are "not serious," according Regional Health Director Jorge López.

Such a truly divine decision, to bring those poor defenseless komodo dragons into the ark for safety, and leave those nasty, evil toddlers to drown. It is so wonderful that many believers put so much effort into living as their deity. The rest of us poor lost souls, will never be able to understand this divine justice, nor feel the warmth of the holy................. is anyone else getting nauseous?
