I think it's mostly in the Americas that more people pray to the Holy Mother. She appeared to Juan Diego in Mexico so typically more Mexican Catholics see her as holy.

Actually, some members of the C of E do give the Virgin Mary special status, and as far as believing in her, most do. I've heard hymns about Mary sung in an Anglican church, and have met Anglicans who do Marian devotions.

Im not C of E but i dont belive in the Catholic view of Mary. I believe she had amazing faith and was highly favoured, as the Bible says. But i dont believe Christians should pray to Mary or anything like that. She was human.

Because there is no holy mother in the bible. The bible says Mary was highly favored among women, not holy.

because that is what they don't believe in. Are you suggesting everyone should believe in that? How sad. Stop trying to convert people.

Mary isn't "holy". She was a sinner that needed salvation like everyone. She plays no role in salvation. She isn't a virgin anymore. And she's dead so she can't hear you "praying" to her.
