Many people that are believers in this man named, "Yehoshua [Jesus]" don't realize they been lied to since 325 CE/AD. This is because the "Catholics" seized power by means of the Emperor converting into their form of theology that was rapidly spreading from the minds of non-Jews who did not understand the faith and religion of Jesus, which is/was Judaism. In 325 AD the Nicene council took place in which the trinirtarians condemned all those that believed otherwise. Because the Emperor himself was ignorant to Jewish ways he was easily sifted into this false doctrine. Yet, because of him he made into Roman Law.

In truth, however, Jesus rebuked a man for merely calling him 'good.' Thus, denying he was God in the Flesh.

'As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 18And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. '

Because of others, this is found in Mark 10:17 & Matthew 19

Hinds Feet is in error, because in Judaism the messiah is not God. Again, if Jesus is God, then he is sure an ignorant god. I don't say this light either. For in Matthew 24, he predicts great and awesome things that will occur in the future, yet amazing enough he does not know his own coming, for it says in Matthew 24:36, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

In Judaism, the doctrine of the Trinity is idolatry, so please do not bring it up

Mike (part 1)

"I AM" is not referring to "GOD" in the Jewish Bible, but the messiah. I was the messiah the ate Abraham's food, not the God of Israel. Read Micah 5:2 clearly,

This son / Yehowah's son was and is the firstborn of all creation; thus, to make a quick point with you - whether he be the first, second, or third born of all creation, he is still a part of creation. However, because he in fact is the firstborn of all creation, he obviously had to exist before the heavens and the earth. Now, we that are torah-observant count time from the first moment that the
son started creating everything on the first day, or better yet, during the night of the first 24 hours.

Therefore, if he was made before that, he was in fact made during the days of .....

days of eternity, which can be counted if you went backwards, for eventually you will come to that point of time. Micah the prophet confirms this by saying in chapter 5 of his holy writings :

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from the days of eternity.

"Origins" here means "beginning point" or "birth." in my Hebrew language.

I see that a lot of people are brain washed here!! Jesus said, "there is no one good, BUTTTTTT GOD ALONE." If Jesus were GOD in the FLESH he just lied to the man, by rebuking him.

To "Someone who cares"

If you look - my dear friend - at the verses you quoted in John 10, Jesus did NOT claim anything here, in truth - it was the people that did. If you read a little bit further in John 10, he corrects them by talking with them a little further.
Let's start where you left off:

....ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken), say ye of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am [the] Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not."

Jesus ONLY proclaimed that he was the God of Israel's son here, not that he was God. Again, if you read it clearly, he only states that only his Father is the God of Israel. Thus, coinsiding with Judaism. For the messiah is the very son of the God of Heaven.

"Why do you call Me good?" Notice the question mark. He was asking the man if he understood who Jesus was.

The man obviously did not understand, "he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth. Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

the flesh is not God. God is a spirit and those who worship God must worship him in Spirit and truth. Jesus took on the sins of man kind. ...Hinds feet is right actualy. Jesus was probing this man. He never said he wasn't good.

I have this to say about Jesus name not beging immanuel. Immanuel means "God with us." The Jews were not expecting the Messiah to be God him self so this was a warning to those who were paying atention. That God was coming and would be salvation. Jesus name meant "Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21). The word "Jesus" means "Jehovah is salvation." So you see God was coming for a purpose and his purpose was salvation from the trap (Sin or separation from God) laid for us in the Garden. Also read first John 1st chapter to understand how Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. Also look into the bible on John 10:30 where Jesus says he and his father are one. Look at Mark 12:35-37 as Jesus reveals how David could call the Messiah Lord and yet the Messiah be his son. Jesus fit that riddle. Also read Mark 14:62-64 where Jesus says I am: The I am is the beginning and the end the alpha and omega. The Jew leaders of the time understood what he was saying and wanted to kill him because it was considered to them blasphemy. But it was the truth.

I agree with your assessment of the Nicene council, as I believe God and Jesus are separate beings and the only thing that makes logical sense. But as to Christ's status as a God......

Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
Christ did NOT say "I am not good", "don't call me good" or "I am not a God".

Why does he call Christ good? Because he is.
Christ knew that of course also.

John 10
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Would you have stoned Jesus for claiming to be a God? The Jews tried and Christ did not deny it, rather he supported his claim using their own law (Old Testament, Psalms 82:6).
John 10
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

He wasn't so much rebuking the man as getting him to realize who he was really dealing with.

Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God.

When the pharisees asked him point blank who he was, they accused him of blasphemy when they heard his answer:

Mat 26:63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

It's not blasphemy to claim to be a man of course, so it's apparent they took his answer to be a claim that he was God.

You do not understand what Jesus was saying in His "rebuke":

(1)Mat_19:17
Why callest thou me good? - Why do you give to me a title that belongs only to God? You suppose me to be only a man, yet you give me an appellation that belongs only to God.
It is improper to use titles in this manner. As you Jews use them they are unmeaning; and though the title may apply to me, yet, you did not intend to use it in the sense in which it is proper, as denoting infinite perfection or divinity; but you intended to use it as a complimentary or a flattering title, applied to me as if I were a mere man - a title which belongs only to God. The intentions, the habit of using mere titles, and applying as a compliment terms belonging only to God, is wrong. Christ did not intend here to disclaim divinity, or to say anything about his own character, but simply to reprove the intention and habit of the young man - a most severe reproof of a foolish habit of compliment and flattery, and seeking pompous titles.

The deity of Christ was well established and preached in the 1st century, no council determined this.

Joh 10:30 I and the Father are One!
Joh 10:31 Then again the Jews took up stones, that they might stone Him.
Joh 10:32 Jesus answered them, I showed you many good works from My Father. For which work of them do you stone Me?
Joh 10:33 The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not stone You concerning a good work, but concerning blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself God.

The Jews knew He claimed to be God, hence them wanting to stone Him and ultimately wanting Him crucified. He rose from the dead to prove once and for all, that He was and is God, very God, for all eternity.

I am sorry, sir, but you are the one who does not see.

It would be nice if you actually gave the name of the gospel and chapter you took this verse from, so that people could look the verse up in context.

He didn't say he wasn't God, he stated the fact that only God is good and was testing this man to see if he knew who Jesus was, and the significance of what he was saying..

I think that is a great point, but you miss that Christ is separate from God. Being that he was at the time fully man, he was human and Christianity teaches that human nature is evil.

Wrong. That wasn't a rebuke, it was a question, and the answer is obvious - the man called Jesus "good" because he is God.
