People don't elect God.
People don't vote on edicts like the Ten Commandments and Koran.

So how can any religious person truly believe in Democracy?

I see this as a contradiction for Bush and the Christian GOP to be in Iraq fighting to establish Democracy.

The native people there favor Allah's dictatorship.
And Bush favors Jesus' dictatorship.

Liberal atheists like me are the only people who believe in democracy and there's not one of us in the whole shooting match over in Iraq. Not one.

The Bible's reason why human beings become lesbians and homosexuals 'Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and WORSHIPPED and SERVED the creature (like men and monkeys) more than the Creator . . . "BECAUSE THEY DO THIS (worshipping men and monkeys), God has given them over to shameful passions. Even women pervert the natural use of their sex by unnatural acts (like lesbianism and bestiality). "In the same way. . . the men burn with passion for one another (as sodomites and homosexuals) . . . ROMANS 1:25-27 (The Good News Bible).

When I was about 5 or 6, In the dream, I was sitting on the side of a hill, in old style clothing and cap. When all of a sudden I
could see dust and hear the clanging of metal. Seeing this I ran back to a cabin telling my Mother that they were coming.
Oh yes there was a little sister there also. We all ran into a cellar(I'm from Fl. no cellars) It was the Union Army, could hear that metal clanging, soldiers screaming and yelling, the Cabin's on fire and the floor joist(Logs) come falling in on the three of us.(that's it)

and will you tell them ? Yes about John 11.26 ?

If we really care for those
Who live beneath God s wrath,
The gospel must be shared with them,
To turn them from death's pain ------Sper

and in Proverbs Solomon pleaded

"Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter"

He say he is.
He reads and quotes the Bible.
And he speaks for millions of Christians.
He just called once again for the assassination (that's another word for murder) of Hugo Chavez.
Since he's got a direct line from Jesus through himself to millions of Christian followers and dittoheads, than this would be a divinely inspired murder. He got the OK from Jesus.
So Bush who hears Jesus too must have the same go-ahead.
The "Thou Shalt Not Kill" commandment had been suspended once again on behalf of the murderous Christians?

I happen to think that is about as EVIL as it gets.
Far as I know Chavez hasn't killed anyone or even threatened to.

This is the same Robertson who wanted to ban vaccinations for children five years ago because they are a socialist plot.

Are any of you Christians divided with Robertson & Bush on this issue?
Or is one measly count of conspiracy to commit murder not so important to you?

"Hell is both a place and also the absolute separation from God. 'he Lord Jesus shall be revealed from Heaven with His mighty angels, In flaming fire taking Vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the Presence of the Lord, and from the Glory of his Power'
(2 Thessalonians 1:7-9)

The paradox is how can a deity be omnipresent yet absent from Hell? If God is in all places, then he must be part of all things.

It seems that Christians would be against prayer in public schools, because would allow anyone, including some Satanic teacher to have the children participate in prayer to false gods.

why cant I be a Muslim, Christian and Buddhist all at the same time, and embrace the parts of these religions that work for me, and reject the parts that dont? I dont get this obsession people have with following just ONE religion.

someone asked the question earlier whether christians followed god or thier pastor.... as a confirmed pagan this interested me.... everyone said God and the bible but being as the bible was written by man and man is fallable and everyone always interprets things differently from each other... how can you use the bible as a reference point?

Before the hate starts... this isn't meant in a degroatory way, i'm just curious how the inconsistency is resolved?
