my family has relocated to a new area- and our neighbors are a pastor and his wife and family. They have visited with us and invited my family to visit their church- which we have on 3 different Sundays. This Church is a great place - it is huge - it has 3 seperate morning services for members, it has a lot of stuff going on but is very overwhelming- it has a orientation and a map to try to feel your way around in this church. I am currently looking for a church to go to, we have 4 children- 1 of whom is a 4 yr old autistic child who is not pottytrainedfully yet-- this church has no programs or can make exceptions to let our 4 yr old go in a class with his 2 yr old brother during the main morning service- he obviously cannot go in the main service with us for the sake of others and for him. any ideas on what to do next- we have expressed our concerns- but they keep calling and mailing our other children invitations to church. Help!

1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Why is it that people are not experiencing the abundant life?

2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8.

4. We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" John 1:12

All they can do is post Bible quotes? It's almost like they've been trained to use Bible Quotes as a default response when they get backed into a corner. Are they angry because they are unable to give a real answer?

if you walked into your backyard one day and found undeniable, undisputable evidence that there were no god, would you show it to anyone, keep it to yourself, or only certain people? think of the implications this would have upon the world, as well.

Since it's the religion of the sword, then they will cut you up in pieces if you refuse to convert, so "religion of pieces" seems more accurate. Your head is over here, your arms are over there.......

Sing to God! Sing praises to His name.
Exalt Him who rides on the clouds —
His name is Yahweh —and rejoice before Him.
Psalm 68:4 (HCSB, Holman Christian Standard Bible)

and rejoice before Him.

Hello to all in India! I am a citizen of the U.S. I have been reading about Hinduism and was wondering if a person who was not born into Hinduism can convert into the religion and if so, how does one go about it? I am also female-is there anything in particular that women have to do/not do? If I cannot convert is there a reason why? Thank you!
