If I was happy and poor, I'll take poor.
What am I talking about.... I already am pretty poor...but very happy! I have more than some, but not as much as others, and it's fine. I think I would be happy no matter what. So the length of my life makes no real difference to me.

Well, that all depends. If I were to life a short life wealthy, I would hope that I was able to use that wealth in some way to benefit the higher good. Likewise, if I lived a long life poor, I would want to live it in such a way that I would bring love, healing and peace to those with whom I connect. It's not the length of time here or the possessions within my grasp that make life worth living. What matters most is what I make of it, whether I live my life as a gift to those around me, how I use my experience to benefit not just myself, but others, bringing about good and making a change for the better. I can't say I would rather one or the other.

My friend, I am 43 years into a long life of poverty and I wouldn't change a thing. I lack material wealth but I have 3 wonderful kids whom I wouldn't trade for the world. I am wealthy in that respect.

I would rather live for Christ, whether a long life or a short life, and it appears that it is not going to be a short life. I have been around now nearly 70 years. Wealth is a luxury, and I can live with it or without it. I have lived with just enough all my life.
