God is present: this is a true statement. But what proves the presence of God in your thoughts & religion?

Well, everybody's different. But I am a Christian, and I have seen many miracles, which prove that God is alive and His power is the greatest power that there is. He is the Father and He sits on the throne, with Jesus at His right hand, and the way that God can be present on this earth is through His Holy Spirit. That's the presence you feel when you worship. He's not some type of force or something. He's a living Person that you should treat with respect. Just like He's standing in front of you, because He is.

All tht is personal. Like God being 'present' in the first place. I couldn't at this time prove it to anyone. But to me, the daily miracle of undertanding the scriptures ought to be enough at least for the new Christian. Look how many intelligent people who do not trust God prove themselves incapable of rightly dividing the word of God!

In my thoughts, it's the feeling that I'm never alone. That I have something to talk to and I feel that a god or diety is listening.

'God is present' is not a true statement. It's an opinion. I personally agree with that a god or diety is present but it is still an opinion.

Trick question. There can be no proof of God's presence. God insists on being accepted solely on faith, and as such, defies our ability to prove his existence at all. A better question would be to ask why people believe that God is in their thoughts and religion.
