There seems to be a lack of acknowledgement of a grand design to everything - (believe me, I am no thumper) but I'd like to see a more open mind to the sheer vastness of existence from the atheists - they seem so limited in their perception. Science seems to always prove there is more to everything than meets the eye. Thoughts?

I have none.
I didn't even know what aplomb is, until I got into college. When I found out what it is, I realized I didn't have any.
Never one to believe in half-measures, I'm not asking if you have some aplomb; I'm asking whether you have great aplomb.
Moreoever, that is the way I have always seen it used in a sentence.
Oh, and by the way, say "Hallelujah" to Jesus next time...

Obviously those 1700-year-old priests did not gather up the most peaceful and harmonious ideas. They didn't even pick the best manuscripts to go in the Bible. If the religion is ever going to disassociate itself from bloodshed, it needs to scrap rotten carry-overs like "original sin" and become something with a more benevolent view of a Supreme Being.

Please let me know if your scripture readings are telling you some of these Biblical events that happened:

Before Moses was given the law from GOD, Angels use to come from heaven and teach the people, but some had relations with the people (Seed of the Serpent) causing people to be born as Giants (9 to 15 feet tall)

The last Giant to be slaughtered was Goliath by David, when he had killed him he cut off his head and buried it in Jersusalem the site of the skull (Golgatha) When Jesus was on the cross the blood from his body had dripped on the head of Goliath... What do you take from this meaning?
