I turned on the TV while having a quick lunch; it was on CNN, Lou Dobbs. The most I got out of it was that a bishop had encouraged parishioners to write their congressman for immigration reform. In Dobb's opinion, this was trespassing "church & state." I will NOT form opinions on this bit of information, that in essence says it isn't
within the "province" of the church. Without further details, my first thoughts are that immigration does need reform, & is there a valid reason why he should NOT have expressed his views? I feel he has as much right as anyone to say what he feels, & the parishioners can make their own choices. BUT without being better informed, I'm in no position to speculate. Does anyone else know about this? (I am not Catholic.)

i have many questions about the end.. its just going round and round in my head that i cant get out..
the 10 horns on the beast, can it represent the united nations of Europe?
they have already formed.. so therefore is the antichrist already born?
does he get assasinated in church, and then he will rise from the deadto claim to be Christ? for it says, "One of the heads of the beast seemed to had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast."
for those who truly believe in Jesus, do we suffer the 7 year persecution of the antichrist? or does God take us back to heaven before this? It says that "He who has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the word, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints."So i guess we do have to be persecuted, just like Jesus didforus..& is thedragonsatan?

Imagine that you're a psychiatrist. A new patient comes to see you and says that he regularly talks to an invisible being who never responds, that he reads excerpts from one ancient book and that he believes wholeheartedly that its contents must be accepted implicitly, if not taken literally.

The patient goes on to say that that the world is only 6,000 years old and that dinosaurs never existed. He brazenly rejects modern science's observations and conclusions, and subscribes to the notion that after death he will live in eternal bliss in some alternate dimension. And throughout your meeting, he keeps handing you his book and urging you to join him, lest you end up after death in a far less desirable alternate dimension than him.

Is this a mentally healthy person?

In Matthew 5:13, Jesus says, "You are the salt of the Earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men." What does he mean?
