Sorry but I don't think I follow your question

The Nazis did go after Pagans to a point. But you have to realize that Hitler was a weird mix of the occult and Christianity so he didn't find the Pagan beliefs in that area all that offensive. I honestly don't recall reading his stand on atheism, but he liked scientists so I think that it was just over looked. Besides, I would have no problem playing Christian if I needed to.

If any defense is necessary, mine will be that I could not, in good conscience, belong to a religion that was responsible for the Inquisition, the Crusades, the Witchhunts, etc. So much of the religion seemed wrong to every fiber in my being that I had to do what was right (not being a Christian) instead of what was easy (joining the church to make my life simpler).

I am Pagan, but do I believe in God? Absolutely. God is all around us. Is Christianity the only way to God? Absolutely not.

If you think being hung is a light or non-existant punishment,or that lengthy prison terms are, then you are correct. the Nuremburg defense of only following orders was a failure for the defendants. They all had the book thrown at them.

Its ironic and sick that you use nazis as an example NAZIS WERE CHRISTIAN goddamn it i hate it when christians imply that Nazis were Pagan or atheist, I think you have no right to judge others, because of what i truly am, i can tell you right now that a Pagan that has harmed none is more likely to go to heaven than a hateful christian such as yourself, If your God is false which it most certainly is, you have Isis, Osiris, Tyr and many other Gods and Goddesses to answer to, You believe you are right? well dear I know i am, and your beliefs dont hold water to the ancient Pagans.

The Nazis were Christians. (Read a history book, and realize what the hierarchy of that party believed.)

Why would I need a defense? For what reasons?

bigotry aside(I've come to expect that of you) how you mention Pagans, as your religions text and traditions drew heavily from older Pagan religions... funny
