Wouldn't be the first time. Theodore Roosevelt's eyes were black. Ronald Reagan had hair that was black. I am also quite sure Ulysses S. Grant's beard was black.

Odds are pretty loaded towards having a black president again. Light complexion, blond hair, and blue eyes is a combination we haven't had in a President since Jimmy Carter. He sucked as a President so I can deal with it if our next one is black. How do I feel about it? Indifferent, I guess. I'm not exactly sure why you asked but I hope my answer was helpful.

I'll play devils advocate and say that this country is too afraid of change to elect a black man OR a woman. The republican party will retain the presidency only if the democrats nominate Hillary or Obama.

This question just staggers me !

I am not an American but, as a foreigner, have long admired many aspects of American culture.

Would you believe it, I thought in these enlightened times, American people had been able to look at a human being, past the melanin (pigment) in his skin.

Somehow I remember reading that the author of the Declaration of Independence was able to ignore this physical characteristic, enough to have children with such a person.

I would love to know, why, 250 years later, you are srtill so preoccupied with this anomaly?

Not a given, unless Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice gets the Republican nomination, and Obama gets the Democratic nod.

Obama is a good guy, but everybody knows that he is a bit young inpolitics. I like what he stands for. I wish a politician could comeout and say he/she is an atheist.

I feel any thinking person would study the issues and decide who was the best canidate. It is not a question of skin color or gender.
It is a question of who is the best qualified.
It seems to me that these middle aged white boys are not doing so well.

He's trying to play Abraham Lincoln, and saying he's too much of a wuss to do the right things. Bad combination, in my opinion.
He should have stuck with the drugs.
Did you know his middle name is Hussein? Really it is, check it out for yourselves.

Obama, I think, would be a good president. I don't say that because he is black. I don't say that because I am black. I say that because of the platforms that I have heard him speak of. Our concerns should not be so much as to whether the candidate is black, white, asian, mexican, etc., our main concern should be on who we think would do the best in leading us. May God Bless U.

Obama Bin Laden's father is Islamic, so he will be sympathetic to Muslims, of course, Muslims will continue to hate us...nothing will change there...
