1 Corinthians 13.1-13

1I may be able to speak the languages of human beings and even of angels, but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell. 2I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains - but if I have no love, I am nothing. 3I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned but if I have no love, this does me no good.

4Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; 5love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; 6love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. 7Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

8Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are temporary; there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but they will cease; there is knowledge, but it will pass. 9For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired m

. The book Ancient Cities, by W. B. Wright (1886, p. 25) states: “Fighting was the business of the nation, and the priests were incessant fomenters of war. They were supported largely from the spoils of conquest, of which a fixed percentage was invariably assigned them before others shared, for this race of plunderers was excessively religious.”

What real things have you done to ready for it? Willing cash or your car to a childrens hosptial? Will you just let your pets starve to death when you are whisked away?

So far I haven't met a christian who has done anything "real" to prepare for this even they say they believe in with their whole heart.

So I'm asking, can I have your car?

Two of the worlds greatest religions share a lot of similarities. Both believe in the oness of God. Both dont eat Pork, Both are conservative, dont display images of God, have similiar dietary laws. have fasts. I am a Muslim who studies different religions. I found Judaism so close to Islam. I have great for the Jewish people as they are people of the Book.

it says in Thesalonians 5:1-3 "Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape."

this would seem to say that we don't know when the end will come but there have been countless people who have claimed to know, even to the minute, when the end will be. What leads them to their conclusions?

Please back up your answer with whatever scripture you believe in.

Also, describe for me how you envision the second coming of Christ; will his stay be like the first? Will he suffer, or will he bring an end to the world? What will he look like, or will Christ be a female this time? Would you want Christ to be female (even though "he" is the SON of God)? Will Christ return to Israel, or somewhere else?

I'm not religiously devout, nor do I belong to any one denomination of Christianity; I simply am curious about your vision of the "second coming".

Where does the belief stem from that if one is not a Christian then one cannot properly understand the bible?

If one cannot properly understand the bible - then how in the world can them become Christian? That's where the entire story and minsitry of Jesus is contained. Where all the 'fulfilled prophecies' that 'prove' he's the Messiah are written. How can one convert to Christianity and accept Jesus if they don't understand the bible and the actual message before becoming Christian?

This always seemed like a Catch 22 to me - and something I am always accused of when I talk to Christians about the bible. I am told that I just don't understand when I try to talk to them about certain prophecies, looking from a more Jewish perspective.

Ironically enough I was a devout follower of Jesus - until I really looked at the bible.

A) What does dying for ones cause say about the person who chooses to die?

B) What does it say about the cause?

For everyone who doesn't know Jesus as Savior, I tell you this in all sincerity and urgency, you REALLY don't want to be here for the
seven years that follow, because if you think things are bad in this world NOW, it's going to be a whole lot worse -- You can't even imagine how bad it's going to be on this earth and the WORST part
will be for those who are DECEIVED into receiving the Mark of the Beast -- because that will seal their eternal fate.....and it won't be in
heaven!!! :-(
I am not writing this to come against anyone, but that you will be
ready when Jesus comes for His blood-bought church and takes us out of this world BEFORE it comes under judgment and THAT will be the END of man's "rule" on earth.
Jesus will be reigning over the earth for 1OOO yrs and there could be a chance that you might survive the Tribulation and be saved, but WHY take the chance if you don't have to!!!
