What real things have you done to ready for it? Willing cash or your car to a childrens hosptial? Will you just let your pets starve to death when you are whisked away?

So far I haven't met a christian who has done anything "real" to prepare for this even they say they believe in with their whole heart.

So I'm asking, can I have your car?

Well I'm an atheist, but I think it's pretty obvious what other people are doing to prepare for the rapture. They're trying to get as much out of the planet as they possibly can before they leave. They're taking millions of tons of compressed carbon from hundreds of thousands of years ago and releasing it into the atmosphere. They're building nuclear weapons in case God needs a hand with the whole armageddon thing. They're manipulating education systems to create a generation of morons.
If some god doesn't end the world soon, his followers probably will.

Unfortunatly there are 2 reasons you can not have my car
1 I have family and friends who will still be here with you and they might need it
2 My car is a piece of crap and probably wouldn't make it to your house.

Unfortunately there is no real way to prepare. Should I pack? Nope, I don't need anything. Who will take care of my pets? I love my dogs, I hate the idea of them suffering if I am gone, but I honestly hope there is no one I know left to check on them. About the childrens hospital, I hope not, but the children will be gone anyway, so I guess the adults should be ready to jump out of the way if they don't believe. But the problem with that is that if they don't believe then they won't take the threat seriously.

So I guess the only way I am preparing is to spread the Word of God to as many people as I can and hope they will go with me.

Hey! Used cars will be cheap, what are you complaining about? Entire homes in the USA will be evacuated. You can enjoy those things as long as you don't get caught looting.

So stop complaining, you'll have enough when the times comes. But it's a shame that you can't take it with you, isn't it?

No you can't have my car. I have need of it until the rapture comes....it will come quickly and we don't know the day or the hour...that doesn't meant giving cash or cars away....it means having your heart ready for it.....and mine is.....Is yours?

You can have my car if you don't mind the bumper stickers all over it...
"Human rights for Ireland"
"Blessed Be"
"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience"
"Amnesty International"
"ASPCA Member"
"Free Tibet"

I'm pretty sure the Christians won't want it...

The "Rapture" stikes me as a sort of "Hooray! I'll get out before the trouble starts!" delusion. A "Get out of the Apocalypse Free" card.

It has a great deal of appeal to those who believe that the end of the world is just around the corner. Which it is, of course, as it has been ever since time began.

I get ready by keeping short accounts with God, I don't allow any Sin to stand between me, and Him. I seek to inform as Many as Possible. My critters will be just fine, their not stupid, they know where I keep their Food.

What happens to those who are on the toilet when the rapture happens? Do they leave with their pants around their ankles?

There will be no Pre-trib rapture. I think those who believe that have read one to many Left Behind series.
