There will come a False Prophet, the same period the Antichrist comes. False prophets are those like Nostradamus ... Mohammad.. any one who claims a predition but it does not come to pass...like those psychic people...Jean Dixon... Slyvia Brown, they are false prophets....many believe the next Pope will be the False Prophet of the end times. Even some of the Catholic believe this... for this Pope is the last one mentioned.

There are many false prophets but there is one that has that as his title, as in these scriptures.
Revelation 19:20 - And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 20:10 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Anyone who is teaching religious concepts not found in the Bible is a false prophet.
Jesus predicted that there would be divisions and denominations fro m the one true church. These denominations are results of men changing Bible teachings to suit their needs and/or adding new religious practices to services that aren't found in the bible.
False prophets teach a variety of subjects including:
infant baptism, instrumental music in worship, men as head of the church, original sin, etc.
These concepts are man-made not Biblical and those that teach these as truth are false.

This is anyone who is leading people away from the truth of Jesus Christ, they are wolves in sheeps clothing---very influential and leading cults and other false relegions....they are not walking with the Lord or following God's word, but are out for their own gain and the enemy uses them to get people away from the truth.
They come as if they want peace and love and truth, but inside they are ravenous wolves, as the bible says:
Matthew 7:15
[ A Tree and Its Fruit ] "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
If it is contrary to the word of God, it is not the truth, and people are being led to hell basically when they follow these influential leaders. ---Oh and then of course the anti christ will come just before the great tribulation begins.

The Bible doesn't identify any of them by name, but believers will be able to identify them by NATURE and the times in which they appear, claiming to be something they are not and cannot prove to be.

According to Judaism he is the false prophet. You'll probably miss the real one when he comes along :-)
P.S. According to the Torah, no prophet will change the Torah.
Wouldn't that make Jesus a false prophet?
