why do you get so excited whenever you uncover some piece of "evidence" you suppose supports your point of view.

I'm thinking of the piece of Noah's ark found in Turkey (later to be found a hoax); the willingness to test the Shroud of Turin (now known to be a 13th century forgery) or even the discredited notion of irreducible complexity.

If faith alone sustains you, why sweat the evidence at all? Could it be that you really do want to see evidence? What does that say about your "faith"?

Mar 16:18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will be well. why don't people who claim to have the holy spirit drink poison or pick up sankes? Is it because there is no money in it? Did Steve Irwin have the holy spirit? he used to puck up sankes
Why do only people in africa and places like that get raised from the dead?

Three million people gathered in Bangladesh this weekend for to ask God to bring about world peace. So many times this kind of thing happens. Everyday millions of people ask for the same in private prayer. If God exists why doesnt it give humanity world peace? What kind of a God denies the world peace if it has the power at any time to bring it about?

Hi, and I'm a muslim, I would like to say something.

To Muslims, stop picking fights with these people just because they discriminate againts us, if they won't stop and we won't stop when will the bickering and hatred end? Also stop preaching to them, they can't relate so it's no use if you preach, they won't listen because it's not their religion so don't bother bothering them. Remember one surah that says "My religion is my religion, your religion is your religion.", so lets lay off each other, kay?

To non-muslims. Why do some of you hate us so much? Have a muslim personally assaulted you (the terrorists doesn't count). If some retard blow himself in the name of his religion, suddenly the whole religion is to be blamed? Is it fun if I were to made fun of what you believe in? And then you go on saying things that Islam is an evil religion or something while you didn't understand it, even if you have read the sources you were biased so it's not valid.

Crap, out of words to say

This is part of the fairness of God. No one will carry another person's sins and there is God who in the end on Judgement Day we will be accountable to Him and who willl compare our good deeds with our sins and see where the equation ends to see whether we deserve Heaven or Hell. So how can Jesus pbuh die for us. This is a green light for people to sin as they wish since Jesus already died for us so we are forgiven. What type of fairness is this. So he wasted his life and according to christians was tortured to save people some of which do not deserve to be saved from their sins. Oh no! You want to be saved work on it and act properly. Otherwsie when you sin why do you ask for forgiveness if in your mind you are already forgiven since Jesus died for your sins. Can someone explain this dilemma.

The Mormons encourage members to baptise the dead by proxy in the belief they are helping the deceased attain full access to heaven.
Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Genghis Khan, Mao Zedong, King Herod, Al Capone and Mickey Mouse have all appeared for a short time in the International Genealogical Index (IGI) for proxy baptisms.

So Benedict looks set to join his predecessor John Paul and a centuries-long list of popes Mormons have baptised -- despite the fact that he, back when he was the Vatican's top doctrinal authority, ruled that Mormon baptisms were not even Christian.

Word used in (Gen 1:26) is eloheem and it is translated mighty that is why it is used to describe GOD, False God (gods)(-dess,-ly) angels and judge's. It depends on the context on what it means. an example of the word elohim being used as mighty is in Gen 23:6 Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty430 prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchers bury thy dead; none, of us shall withhold from thee his sepulcher, but that thou mayest bury, thy dead.
i have left the stronges numbers in for easy reference in the meaning of elohim.
Other examples of the elasticity of the word elohim are "godess" in (1 kings 11:33)
"judges" (Exod 21:6) and applied to pagan idols in (Judges 16:23; kings 11:33). It generally acknowledged that it comes from a root meaning "power" or "strong ones".
Adam did not see God in the garden it was an angel sent by god to do his work.
the us in the Beginning was the elohim as in the angels
Man looks like the angels! many people thought they we normal people

I propose that to completely remove the link between people who accept evolution and Evolutionism (as in the communist/Marxist philosophy), we now use the term "evolutionaries".

I personally think this carries a more positive tone. What's your opinion?
