The trinity is an invention of the Catholic church just like infant baptism., and purgutory.
There is only one chapter in the entire bible where Jesus claims to be deity (the only son of God) That is the third chapter of John, In all other places; Jesus calls himself the son of man meaning he was mortal like every one else.
In John 10:34-39 Jesus called the pharisees gods (meaning we are all the sons and daughters of God.
In John 14:12. Jesus said the works he did we will do.
In Mark 16:17-18 he hives us the authority to cast out unclean spirits.
The problem is that in the 4th - 6th centuries the religion OF Jesus was twisted into the religion ABOUT Jesus.

The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion -- the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are Three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these Three Persons being truly distinct one from another. Thus, in the words of the Athanasian Creed: "the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God." In this Trinity of Persons the Son is begotten of the Father by an eternal generation, and the Holy Spirit proceeds by an eternal procession from the Father and the Son. Yet, notwithstanding this difference as to origin, the Persons are co-eternal and co-equal: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent. This, the Church teaches, is the revelation regarding God's nature which Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came upon earth to deliver to the world: and which she proposes to man as the foundation of her whole dogmatic system.

Do you mean the mystery of the Trinity?
As I understand it, it means God in three aspects; the Father, the Son, and the holy Spirit. God the Father is the Creator, the maker of everything. God the Son is Jesus, who is what you might call the living embodiment of God. The Holy Spirit is God's power at work in the world and in mankind.
(The idea of three 'personas' which are in fact different aspects of the same one, does not belong solely to Christian dogma. In ancient Greek mythology, the 'triple goddess' appears time and time again; her three aspects are usually maiden, nymph (i.e. childbearing woman) and crone.)

MIsery of the trinity??? Yeah, I guess being three persons and one at the same time must be pretty miserable.... Its like split personality. And one of the two personalities is also a split personality...
Yep... Misery indeed...
Before you keep with the stupid thumbs down... Read the question For ***** Sake....

There is one God, His beloved son is Jesus(like how emotional a father and son relationship is), Holy Spirit is God's gift to those who accept Jesus. I have received Holy Spirit recently and I understood the real truth now only though I have been born in a christian family.
Just follow in the Gospel books, what Jesus is trying to tell us. He came down from Heaven, He is the only person on earth who knew about God and Heaven than anyone does.
I feel God's presence so physically, so just trust Him, because all that He said is true.

Genesis 1 explains let us make man in our image...Gen.2 shows how man was created...God formed man from the dirt and he breathed in a spirit and the two became a living soul....Man is body and spirit and the two are one soul..without a spirit a man would die the same as an animal this is the likeness of God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit and they are one God.

how can you believe it that 3Gods or 3 parts in one God run the world in this way we will have a war between them all the time .although I respect to Christianity but I accept that there is one God without a son or daughter.couse if he had a child so he was like a human not beyound it.
Jeses born without father ,ok but it was a miracel (s.th beyound usual)to God show his power.

well you should stop thinking about God as a person....if he's a person just like us then the trinity is impossible. God is a spiritual being, took the form of Man to convey his message, but since he's not a human being and he has abilities beyond our imagination, he can be 3 entities in one at the same time.
it's a question of faith really.

Misery?
What are you talking about?
The Trinity was used by ancient theologians to explain the metaphysical make-up of the universe.

I think hinduism explains it best:
There is the part of God that is beyond this world, and not involved in worldly matters - pure divinity. (Father)
There is the part of God who creates and helps and is involved with creation. (Spirit)
But neither of them can take you from worldliness to divinity - Spirit only works in the world and Father only works out of it. So a third part is needed to bring people from one to the other. Hindus call it "God the Bridge" - Christians call it "the Son"
