What is the biological purpose of snot, and is it a coincidence that the index finger fits the nostril so well

we get regular snot from all the crap that we breathe... all those boogers are really dust and pollution in the air...

unless we are sick.. well then that is a whole different snot...

but yes our fingers AND nails work well for it.. and i am sure god did plan it that way.

Snot lets you know if you are getting sick, if it wasn't there, nothing would run from your nose, and you wouldn't know that you have a cold. The finger fits the nostril for picking the nose, I don't know why it is considered disgusting by most, that it why it fits.
