I get some of the stupid statments and cowardly unbelief from pastors in the christian church. Do animals go to heaven? Well what exactally is it that Jesus rides when he comes back. I see on TV facts about the new world order, Satans secret so called society. Once and a while the truth pops out, like whoops it sliped. Go to a christian pastor and they'll usually deny every thing. Thats were the statement they wont lift a finger to help.Who do you think will receive the bad beating when the owner shows up?

Well Im part of the LDS church.....well kind of, because my older brother and is wife are converted members and my family are catholics, but I mostly go to the LDS church. Well anyways I just found out that we believe in different glories or degrees of heaven, and a jewis friend of mine not that in his beliefe said they believe almost something similiar. If you are a strong faithful jew can you give examples this.

there are forty books in the series that we get "The wizard of Oz" from ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Oz_books ) seven books to the Chronicles of Narnia , and countless others that Christains are, to this day, trying to ban--which is easier, banning all these works of classic literature that no child should be without, or banning just one?

You know who I'm talking about.

That one person who is just a big S.O.B.

That one person who you just wanna get rid off.

I'm not giving examples for reasons for personal reasons.

Would it force you to re-evaluate your beliefs? More than likely they will have very different beliefs that we would. What if they don't believe in god or find those beliefs offensive. How would we prove to them that god exists. Show them the bible? They may not have books in their culture, perhaps something else. You would have to accept that there is some life in the universe that doesn't believe or need god. Who is to say that we are right and they are wrong?

Considering that technology assists people's lives and makes them better, why should anybody concerned with living in eternity after death use it? The reason being is that eternity is infinitely more then any number of years we live, if anything they should be killed immediately after baptism or similar religious experiences that make them 'pure' so they don't have a chance to mess up.

I don't mean to be hostile, I really don't, but this question bothers me. It's like having your cake and eating it too. They get the benefits of knowing they'll live cushy lives in heaven and the cushy lives here on earth with light and heat and proper food. It's being wasted on them.

Tell me why someone who lives for an afterlife should get the benefits here in this one.

Something that makes so many people feel that good while watching it cannot be anything but god-sent, so it must be one or the other.

Should be add the script to the modern bible maybe?

Only around 30% of the world's population calls themselves Chirstian. That means that 70% (about 4.5 billion people) are non-christian. From what I have heard from many christians, if you do not accept Christ into your heart and life- you go to hell. Are all these people going to hell? If you are Christian, how does this make you feel? Do you think you are the select special group who does not have to burn in hell for all eternity?

Christians live for a life in heaven. And that heaven is not in earth but an imaginary place near God which nobody has ever seen

Atheists too live for a life in heaven. But that heaven is in earth. Atheists want to make earth a heaven

Firefighters, passengers that prevented more murder, etc...

Conversely, if a terrorist "realised" Jesus was Lord a moment before crashing, are they in heaven?

I think this points out how out of touch Christianity has become that some would say, yes.

it is common knowledge that humans have brought this planet to shambles, that it will not support much life at all in less than 100 years...not to mention scientist have tracked a meteor that will smash our planet in 20thirty-something...if you don't believe the bible how do you deal with this?[the bible clearly states that all of this would happen and that GOD would ressurect his faithful ones to a new paradise(not unlike the garden of eden)]...if you are going to go off on some existential rant save it...i used to drink with jaque derrida...literally...if you are going to imply that i am uneducated again i would caution you...i mean this as a straight forward question...how are you coping with the unraveling of this system of things if you have no faith?
