Hey all my school just burnt down a couple days ago

http://www.idahostatesman.com/102/story/69734.html

does anybody know if its possible to rebuild a school in 6 months? This school only needs to be big enough for about 1500 kids maybe less; we only have around 750 right now but are rapidly growing. what can we do as a community to get a school rebuilt as soon as possible?

Jesus is God in the flesh and Hitler is just a proud unrepentant sinner who wished he was a god.

Hitler was wrong when he murdered millions.
Jesus never murdered anyone but rather gave His lifes' Blood for millions to be saved.

Hitler regenerated the German economy with slave labor.
Jesus fed thousands with nothing more than a few fish and loaves of bread.

Hitler used his prisoners as guinea pigs for medical experiments.
Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead without "modern science" and at no charge.

Jesus is the creator of Hitler and all those that Hitler murdered. No one can judge Jesus for his actions, methods or choices. Jesus has the right to cast Hitler in to a burning hell and lift up the murdered ones to heavenly Glory.

So tell me; why do you hate Jesus? Could it be that you have a heart for Hitler and his ways instead of God? Is Hitler what you want for a god? Do you want to be like Hitler was or like Jesus is? Hitler is dead; Jesus lives.

I mean MILLIONS of People WRITING DOWN eyewitness accounts.
For me each child born, the trees and grass, or BILLIONS OF tiny little things called ATOMS, which MAKE UP EVERYTHING from the ROCKS , or ground we walk on, to the air we breath and Universe, and all things in it, not to mention a BODY with a MIND which SCIENTISTS DO NOT EVEN UNDERSTAND how it works...
WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEED???
Oh yeah... , someone said it, "it is not my JOB, but the JOB of the HOLY SPIRIT, to bring you to HIM".
THE ONE WHO I CAN NOT DENY, CREATED ALL THINGS.
PRAISE GOD FOR THAT.
DOUGLAS: Seeker of (the) LIGHT.
The TRUTH will set you free.
JESUS is the ETERNAL TRUTH and the LIGHT of the WORLD.
(sorry YAHOO ANSWERS! , I may be getting a little CONVERSATIONAL).

Don't get me wrong, I am a Christian, but I don't understand why God would allow Job to be tortured like that and have all of his family killed just to prove something to Satan....It doesn't make any sense to me! Any and all replies welcome. IM me if you want to chat about it.

What does the answer say about rational discourse in America?

who do you fear? Muslims, who have an opposing irrational belief system.

So, what you fear is irrationality, not rationality, right?

CNN reported that 97%of people polled believe in God.
3% did not believe in god(atheist)
Complicated Question is: Why do Christians use this as an argument as, of course, there are many gods....some believe in mono gods, some have many gods.......these people will all say they believe in god! Are you saying that all religions will come together for the sake of ridiculing atheists? Wow, humanity has a long way to go until enlightenment.

What I mean to say is, is it really christian to tyhe people into bankruptcy. Does good really want you to go to a crystal cathedral to honor him? Are these people running the mega churches really have their congregations best intrest? Is it fair for the pastors wife to wear a $3000 dress while the people in the pews are having to take the bus to get to these services? Do they really need multi-million dollars sound systems? Would this money donated in the name of god be better served helping the community this church is in? And do they really need to go to third world countries to save people? Arent there plenty of people in each american city who need our help jsut as much or more than the third world people?

Do you simply receive it without further obligations?
Or...do you have to:
1) accept Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour
2) believe that Jesus Christ is god
3) ask for forgiveness of your sins
4) be baptized

All the above are obligations that goes beyond merely "receiving" a gift like a gift of money. My contention remains that christian salvation is still an offer, and no gift, for it requires you to fulfill at least some of the above obligations.

I mean how many of those communist czars in the ex-Soviet Union, N Korea, and here including Nancy Pelosi have ever given away any of their own wealth, other than take away someone else's to give that away instead ?
Historically communism sprang from Marx's idea of Jewish messianism as being "Society" as the Messiah. So it can be also called a poor mimic of the original religion it claimed to uproot.

1. First they're raised in church

2. After being raised in church, they get into serious trouble. More trouble than the average Atheist

3. Than they say they found Jesus and changed their life for the better

4. When telling their story about Jesus saving them, they never admit that they were raised in church which caused them to have the mind set to get into trouble in the first place.

Marriage is just a decision between 2 people to live together. Why is it being glorified with so many religious rituals and complications?. I like the western thinking and style of dating and living together.

I believe jesus was black just by geographical default. He may not have been completely black he might have been brown or light brown, but to believe jesus was a blond haired blue eyed white guy is a flat out lie. Jesus did not become white until King James wrote the "white" version of the bible. And also has anyone noticed that the bible, koran,, say the exact same thing? Also did you know the egyptian book of the dead which is older than both of thoses books say everything the bible and the koran say?

Do you honestly think you'd "know" him if you'd been born in the jungles of Peru a thousand years ago?

No, you'd have worshiped Ataguchu, along with a few dozen others pagan deities. If you had been born in ancient Sumeria, you'd have worshiped one of the dead city rulers. Ancient Greece? Zeus, all the way.

Religion is totally relative to time, place and culture. For most people, you believe what you've been taught. This is why individuals who aren't "in" your religion look at your claims with an objectivity you can't see. Statements like "the one and only god" are irrational when historically, we know every culture has believed their god (or gods) were the "only ones."

Suppose the bible had been stolen, and rewritten to read that Jesus had a twin sister? Then undoubtably you'd "know" both siblings in your heart, but not because you were there to witness them. Maybe he DID have a twin sister, and that was removed. How do you know what you? The truth is, you don't.
