I am not Jewish but have tried to do some studying of Judaism because it is so interesting to see where Christian/Mormon roots lie. In my opinion Judaism used to have more information about a premortal life and more information about what happened after this life, but because certain prophecies kept being removed from their scriptures (which is still an ongoing process, I have been told) then their information has become filtered to the point of being ambiguous at best. I was told by a man who served a LDS mission in California that he learned that the Jews do have a concept of a pre-mortal life, but on other websites I have read that many Jews do not believe that to a large degree. I think they have a Hebrew term for where the soul goes after physical death which is called Sheol (see first link below). The Pharisees and the Sadducees had opposite beliefs on the resurrection (see second link below). So much of our Christian belief in heaven depends on the knowledge of the mission of Jesus Christ, so it only stands to reason that Jewish people and others would not have such a strong knowledge of what happens after this life if they do not study the significance of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Hope this helps, and have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

answer: there are countless perspectives because the afterlife isn't defined in Judaism. maximum Jews do not concentration on the afterlife, we enable G-d difficulty about that. Jews concentration on the the following-and-now: conserving G-d's commandments, reading Torah, being concerned for others and helping to fix the international. some Jews have self belief that once someone dies and they are righteous, we bypass to affix G-d right this moment. If we are not righteous they spend a couple of minutes far flung from G-d. some Jews have self belief that we enter a snooze-like state until eventually the Messiah/Messianic age and then connect contained in the hot international to come back. some Jews remember on reincarnation until eventually the Messiah/Messianic age or until eventually one will change into righteous adequate to affix G-d. Jews do no longer remember on an eternal torment/hell. that would not be a portion of the righteous plan of a loving G-d. there is no communicate or description of “hell” contained in the Jewish Tanakh.

Heaven is the dwelling place of God and for those who go there a place of everlasting bliss.

Scripture implies three heavens, since "the third heaven" is revealed to exist (2 Cor. 12:2). It is logical that a third heaven cannot exist without a first and second. Scripture does not describe specifically the first and second heaven. The first, however, apparently refers to the atmospheric heavens of the fowl (Hosea 2:18) and clouds (Dan. 7:13). The second heaven may be the area of the stars and planets (Gen. 1:14-18). It is the abode of all supernatural angelic beings. The third heaven is the abode of the triune God. Its location is unrevealed. (See Matt. 23:34-37; Luke 10:20; and Rev. 22:2, 20-27).

I'm Jewish, adn not really. It's pretty baisc- you eihter go to heaven or you don't. I mean I guess really really righteous people will have a better time than some nice farmer, but nothing like the 3 separate levels that you mentioned.
Just letting you know, that yu=ou may geet different answers becasue I'm not sure if conservative or reform Jews believe in heaven, so there are different sects.

LDS have all the right answers. Keep going to their Church. How do I know? Because I am one!! Doesn't it make sense though that there are different degrees of glory? Why should everyone have the same reward when some people deserve more because of their goodness, especially to others. Gordon B. Hinckley is the man to watch. Keep one eye on him and you will never go wrong. He is totally amazing!! He'll be 97 on June 23rd and he is still sharing the word of God. If he believes, I do. God bless the Prophet.

That is not Biblical. The beliefs of the Mormons would be laughable if it weren't so tragic in that they are leading people to hell. LDS also believes that you can 'stand in' for a dead person, get baptised for them, and they in turn can then enter a 'higher' level of Mormon heaven. They also believe that Jesus and Satan were spirit brothers. Jesus was the Son of God, begotten by the Holy Ghost of a virgin. Satan was an angel. A creation of God that wanted to have the power of God.

They also believe in a 'mother God'. And that God is married to his goddess 'wife', and they have spirit children.

If you know what is good for you, you better get as far away from that as possible. My family is also catholic on my father's side. Catholicism is also false doctrine.

If you are really interested in finding out the truth, go to www dot carm dot com. It is a Christian apologetics website, and they investigate different doctrines of different religions in an unbiased way.

None of the LDS teachings are Biblical. You do not have to believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God to go to heaven. Sorry to bust your bubble. You might as well be worshipping Satan.
