If open attiudes to sex are immoral...

Ie relaxed attiudes to nudity, seeing each other as sexaul, relaxes dress codes that may be skimpy or drwing attention to sexaul nature of bodies.

Swinger parties, legalised and regulated prostituion (ie making sure girls are not abused, all safe , no pimping etc), girls allowed to have lots of boyfriends, detailed graphic sex education to young kids before teenager and readily available contraception. to prevent stds and unwanted babies

People with public shows of affection.

Nude beaches... etc etc...

Gay and lesbian rights and equality

If this all sinful, evil, dirty, immoral, fornicating, against god etc etc

How come free love hippies\ liberal countries are the most peaceful with most equality and respect for females and relgious god fearing countires where they have strict moral codes against open sexual unmarried behavour and nudity.

Are the most violent and repressive and sexist against girls?

I know witches are supposed to be kind and use magick as a means of making the world better, but we're all human and if you are angry, will it make you crazy if you invoke the spirit and cause mayhem?

That the "bible-based morals and opinions" that most Christians are spouting at any given time are exactly the same as whatever propaganda most of the Christian SPOKESMEN are spouting at that particular time? I mean word-for-word?

I'm just wondering... How did the original cell (DNA) survive until it got its protective cell membrane? Also, DNA/LIFE can only come from other DNA/LIFE so how did the first DNA strand form? Does it take more faith to believe that this cell somehow survived in a chaotic environment to flourish into all the amazing life on earth today or that God created life?
thanks for your answers.

Can you show me in scripture please?

My Bible says that it is Scripture that is to be used as measuring stick to determine truth from error.

Scripture states that God has provided for His church through "infallible Scripture" Acts 20:32; 2 Timothy 3:15-17;
Matthew 5:18; John 10:35; Acts 17:10-12; Isaiah 8:20; 40:8; etc.

How did you find your religion, and how do you keep faith?

Everytime I hear any new religious belief, I immediately feel like taking it on, and a short time later, I lose all interest. This goes for most every denomination of Christianity, and many religions around the world, nature-based, monotheist, polytheistic, pantheistic, non-theistic etc. Yes, many would call this gullability, but I don't know how to change it, at any rate.

People say 'pray' - I pray, I feel I have answers, I get baptised, a few weeks later I feel I lose them, and I leave the church.

How do you avoid being taken in by religions? How did you find the one you like, and stick to it?

And please, don't just say 'don't have a religion' or 'there is no such thing as God' or anything along those lines, because without a belief system, I'm awful. I really am. We're talking violence, self-harm, suicide attempts, fruad, theft... let's just not go there, I need codes to live by!

Thankx!

why do priests and catholics like to molest children? do you think that catholics should be placed on an fbi watch list so that the people in their lives can be routinely questioned, especially the children who routinely see these people and have no choice. shouldn't the children come first?

it's like a fire burning deep inside the belly, thirsting for something that you can't explain? If the answer No, there is NO GOD, then why even consider a discussion of existence? Where does this thirst come from? Could God have put this thirst inside on purpose? not wanting to spoon feed you with belief, but wanting for you to figure things out yourself, to have a personal relationship with you?

I can't seem to understand this fact. I am from the former Soviet Union and have dreamed of knowing more about my faith. All of my life I was called a kike and was beaten up on numerous occasions for being a Jew. Once I was even spat upon. I did not even know what being a Jew meant. It was forbidden to teach Judaism under the Soviet regime.
When I came to the US my parents cried when they enrolled me to a Jewish Day school. However, out of 300 or so kids that were Jewish and my age only 100 or so attended grages k-8.
I don't understand this. In America no one has beaten me up for being a Jew; I wear a kippa and am one of few in my community to do so. I feel safe.
Why then the Jews do not support their Jewish school systems do not attend synagogues, and intermarry? Are you afraid to be Jewish? Or are you disgusted about being Jewish?
I just think it is sad that we do not know what we have until we lose it. Please serious comments only no BS. I just need help to understand.

Matthew 6: 5-6
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Doesn't this contradict the celebration of the mass and the communal prayer held by all churches?

.. and he knew beyond any doubt that he was the Son of God then no one could be surer of the existence of God and Heaven. He states quite clearly that he knew he'd be sitting at right hand side of God before the day was out. So here's the thing.. Was this an awesome sacrafice? Few hours pain he had prepared his whole life for with the surety of ruling in paradise to follow? Given than the Romans crucified nearly everyone they thought gave them any gyp, to die this way wasn't extraordinary in the times. So why does organised religion dwell so much on the viscera and brutality of his death?
