Here is the thing- This is the internet, and we are in forum with many many other people, new people come here everyday. So we who believe and CARE about others will share the truth in love and pray that many do receive salvation through Jesus, understanding the grace of God and the love God has for us. If someone refuses to believe, why do they have to keep going into questions where they know the gospel will be heard? Do christians e mail you afterwards and keep trying to shove it down your throat? I hope not! Just move on....but because this is a very public place and many come here---you will always hear the gospel- if you choose not to believe, than just know nobody is pointing their finger at you and demanding you believe. I know I just pray someone will hear it and that the Lord will soften their hearts.

How do you know that all the people who never heard the name of Jesus get to go to Heaven by default? Does the Bible say that? Would you see a person drowning in a lake and not throw them a lifeline, or would you say, "hey, I don't want to offend you by trying to save you, so I'm just going to stand here and let you die?". The Bible tells us we have to offer the lifeline. If someone doesn't want to grab a hold of it, then that is their choice. Nowhere in the Bible does it say if you don't hear about Christ do you get into Heaven by default. Christians debate that very topic all the time. Fact is, really, only God can decide who gets into Heaven because He alone sees our hearts.

it's to late for you because you already know too much to pass as clueless so now you must take sides.

ps..... it is very very unlikely that in todays day anyone has not at least heard of jesus. if you have ever passed a bible in a store, listened to the radio and a song plays that is either pro or con jesus, and even if you join another religion because it tells you what other religions teach.

no matter what you will hear enough to be held accountable even if i never mention god or jesus again......... so why would i stop now?

That's what I said a while back! Nobody f*cking paid any attention either...gah!

If they don't know, then they are better off. When you "spread the word," there is a chance that they will NOT accept it.

Of course, that's assuming that you believe that way. I once had a Christian friend who believed that people who were ignorant of Christianity still went to hell. Loving religion, don't you think?

We all go to heaven! It's a big farce that some do and some don't. Life is a lesson for all of us to learn. God created all of us. Those who do not follow the strict word to the letter as set down in the Bible are no more damned than those who do, as they are not more blessed than those who do not! It's the politics of man talking! The usual tricks of fear and damnation! But what we all face, is how we have lived our lives. And we will come back again and again until we understand empathy, caring, honesty, truth, honor, and so on. The pathological sinners will only be sentenced to doing their "homework" over and over again, while the rest of us go on to more heavenly glories! We make our own sentences as to Heaven or some state of Hell. Our spirit's development is merely delayed until we arrive at enlightenment, which some people take longer to achieve than others. There's no discrimination from the Creator as to his creations! We are all valid and we are all worthy, murderers and all! You've heard the saying, "God don't make no junk!" God loves us all, but we do sentence ourselves to this life cycle on earth until we pass all His tests! The reason for all our experiences, the good and the bad! It's admirable to have beliefs and commend a higher power, but it's not necessary to degrade others because their beliefs are different or if they don't believe at all. The latter I myself don't understand. How can you not look at a beautiful sunset or gaze at the stars and not feel the presence of a greater power? But that's everyone's choice. Each one of us will discover the real reasons behind creation eventually, through trial and error. Perhaps, being say, more evil than good, provides a perspective on what goodness is really all about! How does anyone of us know that we were not some awful person in a past life? Maybe that's why in a present life, we appreciate and understand the true basis of goodness as we may have truly seen the other side in some other lifetime. I, myself, live by the Golden Rule. I treat others as I would expect to be treated and I go out of my way more to the positive than to the negative. I have a deep inner sense of good vs. evil. But where did I get that understanding from, or am I just really intuitive? I don't know. We can all speculate till we're blue in the face, and we could all be wrong, but basically, it doesn't take long to figure out that what you put out, you'll get back! So the power of the positive far outweighs any advantage to living life from a negative viewpoint! Let the bible-thumpers thump! Just smile and fade away and they'll have to continue preaching to the wall! I agree with some of what they say, but not all, and we, all, should have respect for one another and not force our ideas or beliefs on others! What is meant for each person to discover to believe in life will be uncovered by said individual as they see fit. Too many people that are deeply religious seem to get into this panic state where they think they must intervene to save all the others that need saving! It is not the job of any man to verify or assume belief for another. We each have the responsibility to choose our own paths in life, as all is meant as a type of lesson to be learned from the choices we make. No one else need feel they must direct the lives of anyone else, maybe their own children for awhile, but then that must stop too, when they reach a certain age. Then they must walk their own path to find the realizations about their own lives. There's an invisible universal force operating among us. What IT says goes, not the other way around! We just need to stop, look and listen to become wiser about ourselves and our lives.

I have said this many times Jibba
this one really makes no sense to me
why go on missionaries and take away their default right to be saved
but they are asked in their bible to spread the word ... so they are doing what is asked of them

That's not how it works. Whether you've heard of him or not, you have to believe to go to heaven. This is why the Judeo-Christian missionaries were so hot to get to the New World. There be a lotta native souls who need a savin'.

You have to ask Jesus for forgiveness of your sins to go to heaven. So, that's why we try and tell as many people as we can. So they WON'T go to hell and WILL go to heaven.

Don't believe in Jesus & haven't asked for forgiveness? Then you won't go to heaven.

You have to know Christ to go to heaven. That's why we tell people-so they can go to heaven too...because we care.

You are incorrect.

Just the opposite is true.

Those who have never heard of Jesus Christ MIGHT be saved, but don't count on it.
