Ie relaxed attiudes to nudity, seeing each other as sexaul, relaxes dress codes that may be skimpy or drwing attention to sexaul nature of bodies.

Swinger parties, legalised and regulated prostituion (ie making sure girls are not abused, all safe , no pimping etc), girls allowed to have lots of boyfriends, detailed graphic sex education to young kids before teenager and readily available contraception. to prevent stds and unwanted babies

Women are not "objects," they are people. Do you really think that men who go to strip clubs and pick up hookers are interesting in getting to know the strippers and hookers personalities? I'll believe that when pigs fly.

Er yeah... I happen to know jelly wrestlers and would treat strippers and hookers etc as people... just with nice er 'playstations'

Its just the hooker relationship gets awkards as its a job... ie rent a mate.

If your not the client then its easy to be mates.

Often you get regular punters who get to know the girls like you get to know barmaids.

that was certainly true with a website called www.voyeurdorm.com

Where at first the guys wanted to look...

Then got to know the girls... still liking the view then asking how was college, or how it go with new bf?

Restrictive cultures are built on an attitude of what is wrong and cannot be done leaving its members more concerned with being wrong than being good and living a good life. Think about the poor Puritans, so worried about going to Hell or being wrong and so worried that their natural feelings were wrong that they did horrible things to people. Ancient cultures where natural feelings and impulses were not "immoral" lived such calm peaceful lives. They fought wars and yet managed to avoid the kind of crime and violence that we see is such restrictive societies.
Many of the so-called "immoral" acts related to sexuality were born of Puritanical values and when examined in a more neutral manner have little or no real immorality. There is absolutely nothing wrong with nudity, it causes nothing bad except there is nowhere to put your change and you can get a wicked sunburn. Sex is a beautiful part of humanity and there is nothing wrong with it. Prostitution done right can be a healthy part of a culture. No disease no kids, just adults feeling pleasure. Teaching kids about sex doesn't cause them to want to have sex. You tell a four-year-old where babies come from and they say "Ew gross!" and that is the end of it. Hormones make young people want to have sex, but if we make them feel broken, wrong or immoral then they have no recourse but to hate themselves or the people that told them these lies. Before the Great Schism, there was one Church and it was having trouble getting rid of quite a few pagan villages so they changed the strategy, sex was wrong and evil except inside marriage, they then made it illegal. The right of Prima Nocte was imposed and the strategy of "Breed 'em out" was implemented.
Frankly, the idea that a natural activity, engaged in responsibly is "immoral" is just plain silliness.

A. Both the USSR and China replaced religion with communism, both ideologies that lend to fanaticism in their own right. Whatever atrocities occurred are more due to that, than atheism per se. B. Of course, there are always other factors. C. I think the distinction should be made between De Jure and De Facto atheist countries. Most of nations of Scandinavia are effectively atheist, and have some of the highest standards of living in the world.

i think your right countries that give graphic and detailed sex education don`t have a fraction of the school girl and teenage pregnancy that we do in the uk and also no where near the number of cases of STDs Also it seems to be these same countries that keep out of wars have less crime and better and more effective ways of dealing with criminals(and with out over crowded prisons or a death penalty) If a girl chooses to work in the sex industry i can`t see why she is being taken advantage of it`s her choice .As far as i`m concerned anyone should be free to do as they like as long as they`re not hurting someone else No one is born ashamed of nudity or sex and if it was considered to be a normal thing to walk about naked if it was hot or to have sex in public children would grow.up finding it as boreing as doing their homework
Nothing is so disgusting as greed , hate, war mongering and inhumanity thats about these days but obviously people don`t see the wood for the tree`s

You make a good point in your first question, but I have to disagree with the additional details. Women are not "objects," they are people. Do you really think that men who go to strip clubs and pick up hookers are interesting in getting to know the strippers and hookers personalities? I'll believe that when pigs fly.

So do you know who your father is sweetie, or was he one of many? You don`t explain how family life would be, and the raising of children, and you`ve missed out emotions called love and jealousy. I found a special soul mate without sleeping around, and I`ve been married to him for 28 years. You`re talking a load of waffle, society has to have rules, moral and legal, otherwise it falls apart.

You are preaching to the choir with me. Inhibited Bible thumpers with a Bronze Age mentality get all messed up with sex. Maybe they need instruction on how to do it right? Maybe they should read the Kama Sutra?
