They blame the media and other religions for what they really are. We constantly see them express themselves with violence, mayhem and oppression. Yet they blame the rest of us for expressing our disgust at their ways. Why don't they accept responsbility for what they truly are? It isn't the rest of the worlds fault that Muslim countrys are the worst to live in, is it?

I asked a similar question to atheists. Now, I would like to have the opinion of believers. Please be honest and explain your answer.

Facts: Atheism is not a religion. Atheists are not spiritual or into spirituality because they don't pray to God. Some say they are spiritual because they meditate, but their meditiation is more for relaxation and self-awareness.
Should atheists be in the Philosophy and Humanities Section of YA?

When you examine the individual cards of the Rider Tarot Deck, you have to conclude that they seem to show landscapes and vegetation typical for New Zealand - the same wind-torn trees with top-heavy foliage, the same, green, jagged, volcanic mounds... could it be that Rider designed these cards in New Zealand? They just don't look British to me...?

I would appreciate your input, if you have one. Thanks.

(Oh, and by the way, I used to live in Britain and now live in NZ, hence the realization)

Wouldn't it be nice if there were an Islamic Superman?
He'd fly around doing heroic deeds... And we could read every day about X number of people saved instead of X number killed.
Is this what the world needs right now?

I'm talking about natural urges, not rational decisions.

If you are male, do you desire casual relationships with young, attractive women?

If you are female, do you look for "strength and security" (to quote a real female) and more of a long-term thing?

Do you know that this is explained by evolution?

Men make a small investment in children, so they can spread genes best by mating with fertile females as often as possible (quantity of mates).

Women make a huge investment in children, so they pass their genes best by selecting mates who will help with the burden (quality of mates).

Any thoughts? I think there's plenty of evidence for this (e.g. internet pornography).

The story of Jepthah's daughter--she is sacrificed to the Lord due to a vow Jepthah makes with God saying that if God helps him defeat the Ammonites, he will offer unto him the first thing that walks out of his house upon his return. Which is his daughter. Who he kills to keep his promise. I find this very bizarre--Christians accuse Pagans and the like (falsely) of such practices, and the practice of human sacrifice makes it into their holy text.

I mean no disrespect but I often wonder about this. Do you believe in sex with 70 females here on earth would be a sin? If so, why would this be acceptable in heaven? What reward does a woman get if she does whatever she is supposed to?

We all think that death is like the worst thing ever but could it be that death is what God gives us when he actually wants to be with us. After all we were told that we go to heaven or see God when we die. So Death is what God gives us when he wants to ultimately take care of us?

good with the bad.I'm very respectful, don't sleep around, don't do drugs,I don't drink,I would give the shirt off my back if I could help someone. But something horrible happened the past few months that I didn't feel I deserved. My ex now who I was with for almost 2 years, we took it slow & fell in love, good family, but had depressive problems that he wanted to & would commit suicide b/c he got a onenight stand pregnant bf we met.Of course I helped him come to terms with it,only for him to leave me to be with the mom. I was shocked. They r not together anymore. But he became so cold and hurtful,I got so fed up with everything I yelled at him to the high heavens,I even felt guilty for that. After, everything came rushing back to me, his constant suicide threats,I feel he messed with my head. For once,I really thought God gave me something good in my life&it turned out horrible. To top itoff,I found out when I was ill in hospital Ihad 2surgeries. Its been 6 months and all I do is cry.
