For more than fourteen centuries scholars from Judaism, Christianity and Islam have been discussing whether or not the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, could have indeed, been a true prophet from Almighty God.

Was he the long awaited 'Messiah' the Jews have been waiting for so many centuries?

Was he the one prophesied in the Old Testament Book of Isaiah, calling in the wilderness?

Was he 'That Prophet' mentioned in the New Testament Gospel of John?

The most recent claim of revelation coming from the God of Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus, peace be upon them, is the claim of Muhammad, peace be upon him, regarding the Quran. The Quran makes the claim, Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the 'slave and messenger' of Almighty God.

But more importantly pertaining to our subject at hand, the Quran makes the claim that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is mentioned by name in the previous revelations (meaning the Bible). Can this claim be substantiated?

it was solid proof dont

, “I am the bread of life.” Many of His followers, then as well as now, could not and would not accept this teaching that we must literally eat His flesh and blood. “The scripture says, ‘Man cannot live on bread alone, but needs every word that God speaks.’” (Mt 4:4) And the Word was made flesh… (John 1:14) “My flesh is real food; my blood is real drink.” (John 6:55) Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone is joined to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (2 Cor 3:14-16) “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” (John 6:56) For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. (1 Cor 11:29)

Someone please help me. Please read the story and answer the best that you can. Im 16. When I was 13, I overdosed on pills. I did it maybe 10 times, each time worse but have since stopped. I didnt go to the doctor but I know it damaged my liver slightly. It has healed quite a lot but without medical help on it, I couldnt be able to tell if it healed all the way. I didnt do it to kill myself. Maybe at times I thought about it but I believe it was more a cry for help. I had no idea that it could damage my insides so much. Stupid, I know. Ive thought about going to the doctor to get it checked and if it needs, get it healed. But the problem is that sometimes I dont want it to be healed. I think about losing my loved ones almost everyday and I cant bear the thought but I love them and I wouldnt let them have to see me die. I just don't want to live long after they do. Im a healthy vegan so I thought maybe it would shorten my life even just a bit. If I die from this, will I go to hell?

It struck me that the idea of a soul 'resting' after death is rather contrary to the Christian perception and, if anything, implies a rather agnostic approach to the afterlife. We don't wish the dead heaven or eternal glory or a seat at God's right hand or anything like that - we wish them a peaceful rest... Is the phrase Christian in origin?

I just asked a question on microevolution. Some people seemed to think that no amount of small changes added over time would equal a big change. Please explain before my head explodes from the lack of apparent logic.

The Church existed before the Bible, before the New Testament. Satan himself used scripture to tempt our Lord and it is a fact that people pervert scripture. Ga 1:6-8 Paul says some converts pervert the gospel: I am surprised at you! In no time at all you are deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ, and are accepting another gospel. Actually, there is no “other gospel,” but I say this because there are some people who are upsetting you and trying to change the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel that is different from the one we preached to you may he be condemned to hell!

Eph 3:5 In past times mankind was not told this secret, but God has revealed it now by the Spirit to his holy apostles and prophets.”

1 Co 4:1 Paul says, “You should think of us [apostles] as Christ’s servants, who have been put in charge of God’s secret truths.”

I am in a tough spot...I've been a christian now for a few years..I've always believed very strongly in these things I have been taught..but i've also been introduced to islam b/c of my husband he is muslim..I've been reading some on Christianity and there are a lot of things that contradict themselves..But in Islam it's laid out flat and plain..Do you all know anywhere I can read that is legitimate on both religions to find my spiritual way..this has been so hard for me because I have always believed so strongly in what I feel from Christ HELP!! By the way this absolutely has nothing to do with my husband..I chose to read up on this before I was even saved ...he has in no way been any influence of my thoughts we don't speak about it at all

The Hare Krishna Movement is a contemporary exponent of Vedic culture or "Hinduism". It is actually millions of years old, but only arrived in the West, in NY City, in 1965. The saintly spiritual teacher, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada began sitting in Tompkins Square Park, chanting the timeless Hare Krishna mantra on his cymbals & began a free Sunday Vegetarian Love Feast . Thousands of spiritual seekers, Hippies, Beatniks, Bohemians, Draft dodgers, & scholars became intrigued by his books and message of achieving world peace & divine love through the process of bhakti yoga, or Krishna ( Christ ) consciouness. John Lennon picked up Prabhupada's recording of the Hare Krishna chant, turned George Harrison on to it, and they both started to experience the joy & purified consciousness that came from the mantra meditation of Hare Krishna chanting. Millions of youth became introduced to Hare Krishna through their music like "I Am The Walrus","Give Peace A Chance"", & "My Sweet Lord"

Why is it that pastors will tell you that if you are sick that sickness has to leave in the name of Jesus and people die. Why is God so silent, ya ask for his help and he ignores and leaves you to deal with it on your own. final question: What does it mean when you try something and you fail over and over again and while youre trying youre asking God for his help but you still continue to fail and this failure goes on for years.

Look back in the history of Christians. What havoc they have created on this earth in the name of God! Fighting other religions. Fighting between themselves causing horrendous bloodshed and pilage. The slave trade was incurred by Christians. The Arian nations are Christian. If there really is a God I don't believe He would look down at Christians with favour.
