Look back in the history of Christians. What havoc they have created on this earth in the name of God! Fighting other religions. Fighting between themselves causing horrendous bloodshed and pilage. The slave trade was incurred by Christians. The Arian nations are Christian. If there really is a God I don't believe He would look down at Christians with favour.

Between Islam & Christianity, I'm suprised any of us have survived!

They are both about "Accept our ways or DEATH!"

'Scuse me. The Moslems brought back the slave trade. The Roman Empire greatly used slaves, and as Christians obtained influence, that practice diminished. The Crusades were a response to the Moslems attacking, raping, and killing pilgrims to Israel. Now, while I don't necessarily agree with the idea of a pilgrimage, the fact is that the Moslems started it. The Crusades were the European response. But it was the response of CATHOLICS. I would think that one thing Martin Luther taught you is that does NOT mean Christian. The slave trade, thus, was not "incurred by Christians." You seem to think that every European was a "Christian." Sheesh. Not by a long shot. Read "Amazing Grace." That song was written by a man who WAS a slave ship captain but was saved by Jesus Christ. He knew intimately the kinds of sins that God had forgiven him. My point is that he knew that he wasn't a Christian before, when he captained a slave ship.
There is no such thing as a "Christian" nation. I don't know what exactly you mean by "Arian nations," but, again, you are wrong here. No random group of people is "Christian." The individual might be, but that individual is then adopted into God's family and becomes a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, not earth. And we're always in the minority. "Fighting other religions"? Again, do not confuse the politicized Catholics with Christian--see Martin Luther.
There is a God. He doesn't look down on anyone with favor: "For there is no respect of persons with God" (Romans 2:11). However, He does look at each human, individually, with love--even you.

In the Bible, Jesus gave the parable of the "wheat and the tares (weeds)" in the book of Matthew chapter 13 verses24 thru 30. Those who call themselves righteous must measure up to Gods standards. Otherwise they get tossed and not very lightly. He'll do the right thing by all of us.

I guess, if you want to blame that on "Christians". But may I suggest you place the blame where it belongs, the Catholic Church. All of the crusades "except the last one" were sanctioned by the Pope. When Martin Luther and the reformation began, you will notice there were no more crusades. The true Church of Jesus Christ flourished. There was also a sort of reformation within the Catholic Church which you see today. But they still have what they believe is an infallible Pope, and I personally believe they will relift their ugly heads in the Vatican, and you will see more of the same in the near future. Please study the difference in the two faiths before blanketing the entire Christendom.

Look at the history of the Jews. Same thing.

But no, many of those things you mention, there was a group of Christians fighting to stop it. It was those who were going against the doctrines of Christianity who got their way. For instance the New Testament no where says to burn witches, it says to cast out demons - not kill people. The New Testament does not say to kill infidels to be forgiven of your sins - it says to repent and sanctify yourself through Christ. The New Testament does not talk about special rights for priests and cardinals - it says that all are equal before Christ.

Research Bartholome de Las Casas. Good man, sadly he was not listened to, and many people despised him.

There were Christians who did what they wanted, ignoring the teaching of their Book. However, our civilization was built by other Christians who did obey. Almost every great leader of western civilization was a Christian and our country was founded on Christian principles. The freedom you enjoy now as well as the prosperty and your education was all because of Christians. The first book printed was the Bible. Don't be so quick to judge.

ok that's not all christians, and God knows we're not perfect, that's where Jesus Christ comes into play. If we were perfect then why would He have had to die for us. Some people just try to study too deep into everything else, when they should be studying in the Bible.

Why don't you point out recent examples of "havoc" created by Christians...make your statements a little easier to swallow.
