do tell
has not your husband even mentioned "why not convert. here is a Quran. take a look and compare it to the Bible."
the choice is yours. It takes a strong person to stay on the straight and narrow, and a weak one to stray off.
Read the back ground on Mohammad, because he is the one who came up with this religion. The Quran speaks of Jesus as a prophet only, that is the really bad thing about Islam. They take away the true scripture of the fact that Jesus is the Son of God
The Quran states, How can Allah beget a son, for if Allah begot a son, I would be the first to worship him
please read for yourself and decide. This is a major life altering thing for you and for anyone who converts

Remember when you first made a decision to allow Jesus into your heart? I'll bet it wasn't a day before something happened to shake your faith in Him and steal the joy you had come to know. That's what the devil does to every Christian. And he never quits.
The Bible speaks of a way that seems right to a man but is the way of death. Also, the Bible tells us to beware of those who have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof. The power of Godliness is resurrection from the dead. The Islamics violently deny Jesus' resurrection.
Islam says its Allah is the same God we worship but that is not true. From it's beginning, Mohammedanism has fought against the Jews and anyone who supports them. God said that He would bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel (Genesis 12:3). Also, He said that as long as there are stars in the sky, the children of Israel will be His chosen people (Jeremiah 31:35 thru 37). That's just a couple of the places in the Bible where God verifies His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The Quran is spoken of as the "Satanic Verses" so be very very careful what you put into your brain.
In your marriage, you're "unequally yoked with a non-believer." That's not an insurmountable problem but it is a problem.
I suggest in the strongest terms that you start attending Church immediately if you can. I'm sure your husband will violently object to it but the fellowship of Believers in The Way (The Way = Jesus) is one of the strongest weapons we have.
We'll be praying for you. Keep the faith.

hmm... for both Islam and Christianity, you should look out for the "head-of-religion" organisation(s) in your country. look SEPARATELY for both the Christian and Islamic organisations... if those organisation(s) are appointed by your country, im sure you will not go wrong in there :)
though I'm a Muslim, please take note of something. Islam is not a religion that forces you to enter into it. if you really want to convert to Islam, make sure you understand it thoroughly first. because for both religions, there are many contradictions, so it might/will be confusing. hey, you could also get your husband's help in explaining to you some things you do not understand.
once again, i emphasise, Islam is not a religion that forces others to enter into it.
I wish you all the best in your search. InshaAllah, you will find your answers.

greeneye,
if you find the words of a pedophile, murderer and liar flat and simple, I suppose you are really meant to be a follower of the devil.
Reasons are simple, the biographies and writings of muhmmad's contemporaries all show muhammad to be a shameless criminal. And today, islam is in shambles because muslims are in a quandary on whether to follow muhammad's teachings to terrorise or to assume for muhammad a totally different personality.
If I were you, I'd ask myself. What am I doing with a muslim?

all I say is "there is no compulsion in religion".. You need to read, read, read,, and pray for God to give you an answer... Some converts feel they are actually better Christians as muslims than they were as Christians, knowing that following the tenets of Islam, they are actually following what Jesus taught to the letter.. Its what he was trying to say all along.. AFter all, its the oneness of God.. Jesus taught to believe in only 1 god.. Its about peace of mind, Jesus taught that, Following the rules of God, which they are in the 10 commandments.. Moses, Jesus, Abraham, Noah, and Mohammed all brought the same message... The real only difference is that In Islam, you learn that Jesus is not God, not god material, not a deity,, He is a wonderful most respected prophet and was born of a miracle birth.. but nothing more.. He didnt die, and was brought up to heaven and awaits his time when God will send him back to earth to lead all of us to the right path.. Will we called Christians at that time? or just Muslims (those that submit to God )... Didnt Jesus submit to God?.. so he is a muslim also... ... Its not that hard of a decision.. just read please.. you'll see the truth..

Try looking in the link provided below. It will help you by explaining the close relationship between the two religions. You already understand that Muhammad extolled the Prophets including Jesus. He foretold the return of Christ as well.
I hope your investigation goes well for you.

You just have to read up on both religions and feel with your heart which one is the path for you. I totally understand: I was raised a Christian but fell in love with Judaism. Just take your time and don't try to rush it. You've already experienced going to church and everything, keep going. But also go to mosque and experience Islam. Good luck on your journey.

the only thing that is true in any religion is the faith of the believer.
being muslim will not get you into heaven neither will professing jesus is lord with your lips.
what gets a person into heaven is repentance and faith and being born again. No one can enter the kingdom of God except through jesus christ the saviour and the free salvation of Grace which He provided.
the one thing i have found in studying islam is that the Worst sin you can do is commit idolatry. but even in the act of proclaiming the TRUTH islam is allegedly called the religion of the moon god. which in itself is idolatry. LOL. its so ironic
think about it.
but then again, we are commanded not to take the name of god in vain, yet, every single time a muslim says Pbuh, they so so in Vain, there is so much to be understood about righteousness but its not in the fullness of islam, there needs to be a personal relationship of faith With GOD.

It clearly states in Quran that religion is not to be forced and as we can see from the following verses that apostasy is not to be condemned by death. It does not say that anywhere in Quran to kill those who convert.
2:256 "Let there be no compulsion in religion...".
10.99: "If it had been the will of your Lord that all the people of the world should be believers, all the people of the earth would have believed! Would you then compel mankind against their will to believe?"
42.48: "If they turn away from thee (O Muhammad) they should know that We have not sent you to be their keeper. Your only duty is to convey My message."
18:29: "(O Prophet) proclaim: 'This is the Truth from your Lord. Now let him who will, believe in it, and him who will, deny it."
