The more I pray I seem to want to find more answers but nothi ng is really comeing to me. I know that God somtimes uses others to help reviele what hes trying to say and I was wondering what others thoughts are and if anyone has and Good scripture on paitence or the power of praryer and what I should be trying for and what i shouldn't be praying for? Thank you for your time!

What do you think about these verses...

And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.
Leviticus 11:7-8

A similar prohibition is also found in the Qur'an:

He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of God.
Surat-ul Baqara (2):173

Ok, I see all of these questions and answers that list Scripture versus. However I wonder if you can actually explain your position with out directly quoting Scripture... Lets be clear this is not an attack. I am a Catholic and I know the bible but I also know that knowing the bible and knowing my faith are two different things... God gave us the bible as a Users manual to tell us what he wants not for us to memorize and recite at a moments notice. Its not the Pledge of allegance. So back to the question Can anyone (using the bible as a guide not quoting it) explain Hell or creation or the forgiveness of sin? Just wondering

I look forward to reading the answers.

Pope Innocent 3rd claimed that muhammed was the Anti-Christ. Do you agree with that?

The universe and life are a random accident, does that mean that fruit and vegatables to feed and support life was an accident to?

I mean come on,what are the chances both life and sustinence to support the life would both spring up.

If randomness was true(and it's not),then wouldnt that mean there are solar systems that not just have life, but dont have fruit or vegatables to support the life?

Unless ya'll assert that life started out full grown.cuase obviously if they didnt then there would be a problem of feeding theirselves if thier is no food. And someone or something that's young doesnt know how to hunt and search for food yet. They would starve to death and life wouldnt have continued.

Again,do ya'll really consider it a random accident that both life and food to sustain the life both came about?

There was a question asked about animals going to heaven. Some of the responses really disturbed me. I can't imagine that people who are so religious don't feel that the lives of my 3 beautiful dogs are so worthless. I watch tv with my dogs on the couch, feed them healthy meals from the table, play ball with them ,and basically treat them like they're one of the family. my dogs are like my children.

my dogs even saved my family from being burned in a fire on night. I know that I'm probably over the top with the love I show them, but no matter what animal you may adore or respect, hopefully all animals deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.

how could you claim to be religious or spiritual and find no value in animals ,except for your own pleasures to do what you want with them at will.

I am an atheist, but would surely expect the religious to respect all forms of life.

Do you believe, seeing the rampant std's, e-bola, avian flu, etc. that the Lord is beginning to loosen the seals on the scroll of judgement? What about the earthquakes and massive flooding? Are we at the beginning of the end?

"Jesus Christ making heaven exclusive for Christians only."
Christians are not the only people worthy of heaven!
Why would a Messiah do such a thing?

The Quaran says "search for the Truth" Right?
So YOU should do that, true?
You say you honor Jesus Christ the Messiah. Right?
You would never disrespect or disbelieve him, true?
His words are Holy as he is sent from God.
Of course, clearly.
With all of this you find no fault, thanks be to God.
God be praised.
Wouldn't you agree that you have to know where you have been
to know where you are going?
In other words, surley it is fair, in your Love for God, Almighty, to
understand the whole picture about God, from "The Book."
(As the Holy Bible is clearly referred to " The Book" by the Quaran)
Is it not your duty to read such a book?
Jesus Christ the Messiah, that all the Prophets, prophesied about, clearly states that he is the "Light the TRUTH and the Way."

Are you SO SURE that you know what Jesus Christ the Messiah taught?
God Almighty, being Almighty, HAS preserved the Holy Bible's meaning and words. To disagree is disrespectful to God and the Prophets, true?

for example in the bible it says this: "you are peter and on this rock i will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against the church". now i look at that scripture as saying that only 1 church will be formed not many churches.....if you read 1 John 2:25 it says this: "But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know"...if people followed this idea would there be just 1 church today? as christ wanted to be? if there is an different view that people have on certain topics in the scriptures shouldnt we just leave the issue alone and let god deal with it in that persons life and not the church itself? and only be concerned about the gospel which is God sent his son Jesus to die for us and to give us Grace so we can see Jesus in heaven and have the power of grace to live better on this earth?

Spiritually discerned. Do you know what that means? We are spiritually dead, until we repent and put faith in Jesus Christ. who is supernatural and he sends his Holy Spirit to indwell in you. That is when you can understand the things of God. The bible will then make sense and you will then see there is much more out there than what we see with our eyes. The bible talks about this many times 2 Corinthians 4:4 The God of this age(Satan)has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Colossians 2:8
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and deceipt, according to the traditions of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
do you agree?

God created the sun to give us some light, he gave us the stars for us to have something nice to look at during the night, etc. A lot of the billions and billions of planets in our Universe seem like useless rocks with no life on it.

I just asked creationists HOW God created our universe. The answer was "God spoke the universe into existence". Even though that answer made me laugh beyond my ears, i also made me wonder.

Were all those useless planets caused by a God that stutters?

I know there is more to this song and I'm trying to figure out why the kindergarden song teacher is teaching it to my six year old pentacle wearing brother in law. I was sure that was one of the songs sung in the sunday school my mother forced me to go to twenty-five years ago.
