Paintings European Culture The Women evokes thoughts of sin and sex So in shame the woman would seek to cover her breast as they invoke thoughts of sex and Sex even being good the devil has make evil and temptation come to mind not just one woman but all women...Temptation of man to take more than one because of difference in shapes sizes skin color Man does with his eyes where women do with their minds...of men's eyes
So I would put it as a woman you kind of care how a man looks at you ogled or fondled in a way ....Men would not cover their breast at this point men go with out shirts and do not covet or ogle or see sexy in another male. Great softness to Great hardness from flesh to muscle in the anatomy of things and the spring of the sin in the minds of man and in the culture Europe
where the great painters began.. There are not photographs from The Bible but the image the words of The Bible puts in the thoughts and minds of men depending on the culture they are from...Some tribes in Africa and India see women bare breast add and do not see wrong or need for covering or uplifting garments as the European Culture did and took over the world with their ideology

Who says she covered her breasts? The scripture doesn't say that. It says that they realized they were naked and made coverings for themselves. In MANY countries, the breasts are not considered "taboo." In many countries women hang out (literally) at public beaches.
I have a feeling that back in the day, Eve and Adam only covered their "bottom parts."

*****************************
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

9 But the Lord God called to the man, "Where are you?" 10 He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."

they only covered their bodies once they ate from the forbidden tree and knew shame. And a lot of cultures tell women that their breasts are shameful and should not be looked upon by anyone.
