Usually they are rich 80 year old men. The 20 year olds usually are not faithful to them and most of the time the old men don't even care as long as they receive attention when they want it.
That does happen and as often as there are rich 80 year old men and 20 year old women who will do anything for money, but most of the time the 80 year old men are marrying 80 year old women. We have marriages performed in nursing homes all the time in my city.
I guess that is okay, but I just hope when I get that old, I won't feel like I need to marry if something happens to my wife. since I am 17 years older than my wife is unless an accident or illness or something happens, i should pass before she does.

over 18 ur an adult and your completly developed and you can make logical decisions and if the 2 over 18 people love each other despite their age then let them live a happy but short life
under 18 ur mind is young and u dont know whats going on so you ll make the wrong decision and get married to a guy you have a crush on

I suppose it comes down to free will. After a citizen reaches the age of consent, by law they are entitled to make their own decisions. I suppose the government's thoughts are that when a person reaches this age, he or she is responsible enough to make life-changing decisions. As long as their decisions are not breaking a law or infringing on someone else's rights, there's nothing unconstitutional about it. It would be unconstitutional to tell them who they may and may not marry.

That's because 80 year old men often have accumulated quite a bit of money, and have outlived many of their heirs.
They both get something that they want out of the deal.

We have minimum age so that kids should be able to understand the problem named marriage they are getting into.In Iran it is 9 years for girls,I think.
