I'm just curious. After looking up different religions and countries on this issue, there's a lot of deviation between them. What factors in to acceptance (for anybody for that matter, gays are just easier to use as an example nowadays) in a culture and what factors into discrimination? Is it all religion, or are there other causes at work?

After all, every part of the trinity is not a part of God, but is God. So how do you explain this?

Christians say that Jesus died on cross and was then resurrected. God's love for Jesus for so great that he couldnt possibly have allowed him to die an accursed death on cross.

During high school, everyday on my walk home I would have to pass though an elementary school, and there is this water fountains behind a tree on the play ground. Anyways, nearly everyday for 4 years I would urinate on the water fountain mouth piece. I feel kinda bad now. Is there any reason to confess?

after we die? No matter what we believe or how sure we think we are, we do NOT know. What if we really are fighting and killing each other and there is no "creator" to care?

Please don't quote the Bible or the Koran, they're only books.

The things that cause Islam to be ridiculed are the Hadiths and Sunnahs.

Muhammad himself said not to write down the Hadiths [because it would distract from the Quran] and if you did write them down, delete them.

So why don't true believers do EVERYTHING the Prophet says and delete the Hadiths which distract from the Quran and make ridiculed among people?

For example, the Quran does not say anything about 72 virgins (being punished in heaven) for martyrs!

The killing of one who leaves Islam is not in the Quran, but in the Hadiths (as compiled by Uthman).

And NO there is no where does the Prophet or the Quran or even the Hadiths that says it is okay to write down the Hadiths AFTER the Quran was written!

That is just a LIE that those who do not love Islam created to control people!

Prove me wrong!

I Just don't understand how many Christians can refer to him as God when never does he say he is God. But it also doesn't make sense because in the Bible he says the father and I are one. So is Jesus God or not?

It can be argued that America was founded on religious freedom and tolerance, but is this the case today? Are we tolerant of divergent religious beliefs? America is arguably one of the most if not the most religious nations in the world, and it is fairly safe to say that Christianity is the unofficial national religion whereby Juedo-Christian ideology governs every aspect of our society. Is this a problem for societal progress? Because of the highly religious nature of Americans, can we still be called a democracy?
