Please use only scripture to back up your claims. Your scripture must explicitly say that Jesus was in fact Michael the Archangel.

I took a large quantity of Lysergic acid Dythalimde after fasting for three days (see I'm broke and can't afford food). After about twenty minutes Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and Thomas Paine came into my room and told me they had a message for me to take to the world. They wanted me to spread the truth of Atheism by going door to door like the Jehovah's Witness'. They told me this was a message of peace, but should I meet resistance to make sure I brought my gun. What do you think?

Jesus on his bike has free will (much as all of God's human children). The outcome of the ride is known to God, even though it's not known to his son. Jesus will probably crash. There will be unfortunate consequences in that crash. God accepts that his son might get hurt when he lets go, but ACTUALLY accepts it because he knows for sure. What the heck am I getting at?

Break people and then give them Jesus.

Isn't that how they taught Kunta Kinte his new name?

Oh, I stole that quote from a preacher.

For some reason it thinks this belongs in psychology. Well conditioning does belong in psychology doesn't it?

It got me thinking as there are so many racists on this site, and extraordinarily there are many racists who actually believe in God and can reconcile their racism with religion.

So are they going to Heaven as I'm kind of thinking NOT!

Thanks to "servent of God" for the point in this answer:

"The question is, can there be a God without a bible. Yes, therefore there can be morals outside the bible, and still be influenced by God."

She is concerned that God must be involved in the morals, but certain that morals can exist without the Bible. So, can morals exist that are not in the Bible? Something like "be nice to gay people, they're people too, even if they are different"?

My book defines it as "someone having a different opinion".

I know that my book is a true book, because my book says that my book is a true book right there in my book.

Or Wicca, or any of the other "alternative" religions....those not based on your traditional belief system?

Tell us what you know about other religions...knowledge based in fact, research, and learning, not merely heresay, negative media portrayal, or Sunday sermons. I want you to tell me how you have come to your opinion on these belief systems...in real terms, backed by CONCRETE research.

I find that many people stereotype me, and gives me a thumbs down, merely for my belief in Voodoo. But I also find, they don't really know anything about what I belief, or how Voodoo really came to be or works. They don't do the concrete studying that would allow them to five a non-ignorant opion on my choice of "religion".

So, prove me wrong now...tell me what you know about Voodoo, Wicca, Paganism, Satanism, Spiritualism, etc. Justify yourself please so I can better understand where you are coming from.

Could there be moral obligation from empathy, another god, loving and obeying your parents, loving your children...?

If morals can't exist outside God's rules, why do we have two terms for them instead of just "God's rules"?

The whole world know how this enrages you...but us kafir (infidel / unbelievers / dhimmi / apes&pigs) wonder if you might find other methods of coping with the sight of unpleasant cartoons.

You might perform the hajj ritual or "stoning the devil" at home, but instead you could pretend that the stone is not the devil, but a evil Danish cartoonist, or any Dane for that matter, considering that all Danes were implicated.

Alternatively, you might bend over to Allah 10 times a day instead of the meager 5 times a day. This way, you have no time to do anything at all but bend over for Allah.

Heres a thought, you could just imagine that Allah doesnt need your defense or whining or imagine a more peaceful version of God, or heck, just get an education and leave Islam...lots of choices here.

Any other recommendations people?

Are religionists like mainworry and Lion of Judah here to convert us or something?

Do you have an agenda?

I thought we were here to ask questions.

...Bible, it proves that morals exist outside of God. If it is your duty to try to save people with the truth (as you see it, even Christians) it proves that morals exist outside God (who is imaginary). AND, since, if we can assert our own morals as existing outside God they also can exist despite God, we can challenge God (the fictional character) about his actions in the Bible, such as mass murder and genocide. What do you think?

I was raised in a catholic household but after many years of disagreeing with many points of the catholic religion and doing a lot of research I have realized Im an atheist. Religion is man made. There is no scientific proof of a God and I believe the bible is a fabrication. However I am afraid to tell my parents, any suggestions?
