As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

Because many of us are fascinated that, at the dawn of the 21st century, there are still an astounding number of people worldwide who feel the need to subscribe to what we believe to be superstitious nonsense.

I talk about a lot of other things. Boobies, for example : always a classic.

That question puzzles all of us. There is so much effort in discrediting God but they read the bible to find contradictions, post cynical questions filled with loathe, and insult Christians. Why all the negativity? I mean if the sky is falling and you know its not, why would you care what the person says? That’s insanity to spend your time proving something that you "know" cannot be true. I cannot see myself spending my time proving alien believers that aliens do not exist and looking in their alien book for contradictions. That is characteristics of madness. I am steadfast in my belief and know I have God's love and protection. I am very blessed to have the things in my life and be where I am. I respect everyone's opinion on faith but when it comes down to it, I can care less of what they believe in.

Yes, we talk about other things.... But Ill tell you why it interests me so much....

You people ACTUALLY BELEIVE the stories in the Bible are real. You people make decisions that affect my life, such as who you are going to vote for - usually, it is someone who beleives the same crap you do, reagrdless of their qualifications for holding office (perfect example - the horse breeder who was put as the Head of FEMA prior to Katrina - he had ZERO experience at that job, but was given it because of his prior relationship with Bush, a born again Christian. And I dont think I need to remind you how that turned out...) Daily in this country you attempt to force your beliefs into LAWS that I will be forced to live under.

And frankly, you scare the shyte out of me. So, I am here in hopes of spreading a little knowledge, stopping the lies about evolution and science from being spread by you and yours, and generally do DAMAGE CONTROL.

They talk about lots of other things that have nothing to do with religion. However, they usually don't point themselves out as atheists when discussing things that don't have to do with religion.

If you lived in a world full of people screaming that the sky was falling you'd probably spend a lot of your time talking about how the sky could not really be falling.
