I believe that I answered this question in another way, and for a different question, however I will answer it here too. God IS perfectly good. Everything originated from God. God created the universe and everything in it to be perfect. Unfortunately, man turned from God's perfect way, and sinned. This sin led to the horrible things that exist today: disease, sickness, pain, sadness, death, murder, rape... etc. To answer your question, evil can not exist inside perfect goodness, it would - and did - corrupt it. And it is a good thing that you recognize that.
If you will be honest with yourself, you will admit that you have done something wrong before. Whether it was simply lying, stealing something (even of little value), or something "bigger". Knowing this, and that heaven is a perfect place, no human can enter heaven on his or her own power. That is where Jesus came in. He came to earth and lived a perfect live, died, and then came back to life (!) so that we could go to heaven. I'm sure you have heard all this before, but I would strongly suggest that you consider this free gift to you, especially in light of the season, and repent of your sins (which means to turn away from them) and believe. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

God made everything Good, evil is a lack of what is good and using what God made for good in one context, in another. To give you an example sex inside marriage is part of becoming one. It provides for the new generation, and gives pleasure to the spouses., outside of marriage, while it still gives immediate pleasure, it causes MANY negative side effects. Obvious physical side effects are STD's in 1 in 5 teens (most with no cure, but only treatments to deal with effects), thousands upon thousands of babies killed where they should be safest (in their own mother's womb), women abandoned with children, children raised without both parents, children not getting the basic care they need, etc. These consequences also have other consequences and they multiply to create even worse evil.
We would not have known evil if Adam and Eve would not have eaten of the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden. God didn't create evil, He created choice.

Defining terms:
"perfectly"; complete in all respects.
" good"; having a positive affect on a single unit or a complex system.
"evil"; causing harm to a single unit or a complex system
I guess I will answer the first question first. God is complete 'good' in that all He is or does will affect good for one and all who will harmonize their lives with Him.
God created all things. Satan included. Did he make a mistake in doing so? Jewish tradition teaches that the evil balances the good. It is sort of needing a neg. pole on a battery in order for the positive energy to have a place to travel. All energy moves from the positive to the negative. Without the negative, there would be no FORCE to animate (give life.)
So, if we understand that the negative is also good, we can say that 'evil' can exist inside perfect goodness. God is the Judge who wields justice upon the offender. This justice is 'evil' brought upon the 'evil doer'. Is it not good that the evil doer receives just compensation for his evil doing?
Some have quoted Psa 5:4 "For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Evil shall not sojourn with thee. " to establish a theology that evil cannot come from God. The Psalmist is simply saying that for those who live in harmony with God, there is no harm that comes from God to them.
Righteousness at times demands that evil comes upon the offender. Woe to that offender.

All that I know is of this world. It is flawed and exists in dualality. If there was nothing and the Creator made everything from itself, then both good and evil came from the original Creation.
Do animals perceive good and evil or just better or worse? People think in terms of good and evil, right and wrong, left and right, God and Satan. It is probably from having two hemispheres of the brain.
I don't think good can exist without evil.
We humans can yearn for the perfectly good, but we couldn't know it without knowing evil.
I don't think "perfect goodness" exists in our
dimension.

God is perfectly good and there is no evil in Him at all.
Evil does not come from Goodness, but from free will.
Do you know what evil is?
Evil is the opposite of what God would do.
So how can God have the opposite of what He would do inside of Him?
Did he create evil?
No, He created positives and negatives for all things (balance).
There's 1. What God would do and 2. The opposite of what God would do.
I am a Christian, but I don't like associating myself with most other Christians because they just don't get it.
Read the Bible.

me sense another switch coming!!!!
The answer has to be YES, evil can exist and can come from God. Because, if Heaven was perfection at its best, then Satan would never had rebelled... Yet he did. So, Heaven cannot be a perfect place then, because it contained jealousy that allowed Satan to want to be like God...
Truth is, in any work of fiction, someone plays the good guy and someone gets stuck playing the bad guy...

God is perfectly good. There is opposition in all things. Things coming from and of God are perverted by human nature and by Satan.

These are all mans definitions. Please define "good", "God", "evil" and "anything" for clarification.
Thanks
If a man is robbing me and I stop him is that "good"? Is good relative to ? Same thing about the others. I wasn't being a smart as*. People ask open questions often to try and make a statement. These are rhetorical

Lucifer is God's creation - but his OWN pride brought him down:
Isa 14:12 ¶ How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

You can either accept Jesus' substitutionary death on your behalf, or reject it. If you reject it, you will stand alone before God on the day of judgment and give an account of your life. You will fall short of God's standards [Romans 3:23] and will have to pay the penalty yourself [Romans 6:23] by spending eternity in hell [Revelation 20:15], forever separated from God. But if you accept Jesus as your personal savior, God will accept His sacrificial death on your behalf. It's not a choice you can make on that final day - it's a choice you must make today - either to accept Jesus or reject Him.
God loves you and wants you to spend eternity in heaven with Him. Make the decision today to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and savior. Here's how simple it is.
Come to Him just as you are (don't wait until you feel "good enough")
Admit your need (I am a sinner)
Be willing to turn from your sins (repent)
Believe in your heart and mind that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for you and was raised back to life (accept Him as the only way to God)
Talk to Jesus and invite Him to come into your heart and life and save you from your sins (receive Him as personal savior)
Here's what to pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am sinful and in need of Your forgiveness. I repent of my sinful lifestyle and I want to turn from it and follow You. I believe that You died to pay the penalty for my sins and that You rose from the grave. I invite You to come into my heart and become my Lord and Savior. I ask this in Your name. Amen."
A New Creation
If you sincerely meant what you just prayed, you have received the forgiveness of God and been accepted into His family [Ephesians 1:15]! You are a new believer in Christ Jesus. We are so thrilled that you have made this decision, and we want to be part of helping you get to know God better. There are many simple yet extremely important things you need to know now that you are a believer..
