I have some JW school friends who don't celebrate birthdays or Christmas, they seem very sad and lonely at this time of year, out of sync with the rest of the school and population. Why do their parents not allow them to share? Is it fair for them to force their opinions/beliefs on their children and seperate them from their friends.I have several Muslim, sikh and hindu friends who all enjoy these celebrations, even the Christian ones!

Apparently, the rest is an elaborate illusion put out there by God to fool scientists. I don't buy it. Anyone else care to expound upon why anyone would think that God would care to come up with elaborate ruses to "fool" humans when he supposedly loves us and wants us to go to heaven? I don't get this line of logic.

I know this question has been asked a zillion times, but I would still like to get more answers.

I would really appreciate it if you mention your gender, nationality and your religion (or if you are an atheist/agnostic etc).

Some people think veiled women are oppressed, but the truth is that those women have chosen to wear it by free will. I live in the Middle East and I know what I'm talking about. Sometimes, it is due to culture.

But what is your own personal opinion about veiled girls?

Now if only the Isrealites had gotten the God ordered genocide right the first time we wouldn't have these problems today right?

Numbers 33:55 " 'But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live. 56 And then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.' "

If you're planning on saying God didn't say "kill them" my answer is, they did and he didn't seem to have much of a problem with it.

Also, I do not condone genocide, or any killings.

Some Spirits that did not choose to come here to earth to be redeem, they stayed with God and act as guardian angels for people here. We each have guardian, spirits to assist us, there is times when Warring Angels are necessary to protect us, these are available to us through prayer. They are actually dressed like warriors, nothing evil could daunt them.

The two spirits that came due to my prayers for protection about a year ago, I am sure one was my Spirit Guide and the other a Warring Angel.

Have you ever heard this name mention- (Warring Angels)

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

- Prince Gautama Siddhartha (wink, wink)
