No. The Spanish Inquisition thought they were being good. Good is a point of view. There's no agreement on what good is.
The best religious doctrine is the Golden Rule. Don't do unto others what you don't want done onto you.
Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddism and many other religions all have a version of the golden rule.
