Because Christians feel it's their mission. They have a compulsion to proselytize.

None of those countries are traditionally Atheist. Be careful your Idiocy is showing slightly. North Korea was and is Buddhist China still practices Buddhist and Christian beliefs. Russia started it's Christian beliefs back in the 400s along with being Buddhist for centuries before that..
Your logic only covers 45 to 48 years in the history of Russia. Only in the USSR.
Buddhist temples are still popular in all the other communist countries of the east and Catholicism is still alive in South America's communist countries.
Your question has become quite rhetorical.
Your belief in no god is fine. The fact that you are an Atheist is great. Your historical education is lacking.

do no longer place self belief in what others say. in case you're curious, study the Bible your self. opposite to what some Christians have informed you, there is no inconsistencies interior the Bible. regrettably, some people choose for to communicate on the Bible while they have not somewhat studied it themselves. This makes all Christians look undesirable. on occasion people take one part of the Bible out of context to make if greater healthful their factor which makes it disagree with yet another section. those people somewhat don't understand the Bible or have taken time to truly learn it. And undergo in suggestions, in basic terms by using fact something is a sin now, would not recommend that it replaced into continuously a sin. while Cain married his sister, it may no longer have been a sin on the time. in basic terms later, while the human race grew to grow to be greater populated, (the gene pool replaced into greater organic in Adams time so the themes of interbreeding replaced into no longer an argument) did marrying your sibling grow to be a sin. however, consistent with danger God created greater people after he created Adam and Eve. those are in basic terms a pair of possibilities that would have befell, yet they do no longer seem to be inconsistent with the different part of the Bible. in basic terms take it sluggish to earnings it. i'm no longer attempting to transform you. you look like an clever person; use that intelligence to earnings and study the Bible and different sources.

Well, some of us don't think that atheism is right either, and we believe that China and other communist countries shouldn't be torturing and killing those who have religous beliefs. If you want to be an atheist, fine. But how can you support a regime that murders tens of thousands of religous people a year?

Wow...Christians are there trying to let people know that the God who created them loves them and are trying to spread the message of love, peace and hope which these people need...where is the harm in that?
