The bible says that God loves us more than we can comprehend. If that statement is true, and knowing that I myself could never have the heart to send my child to hell, no matter what..even if he killed 50 people...then how could a God who loves us MORE THAN WE LOVE OUR OWN CHILDREN have the heart to do such a cruel thing? And How could a God who is all Good and all Holy create a place of evil in the first place?

Atheists get a bad rap (some sources claiming that Atheists are more despised than terrorists). Why do *you* not like Atheists, in general?

Isn't this like trying to make God conform to us and our will? Isn't it really idolatry to do this since the god they make is in their own image?

Christ left us with one Church that He promised would always be there, a city set on a hill for all the world to see.

just wanted to hear about anyones experiences with hearing an audible voice
I know God speaks to us through the Bible, circumstances, other people but have you ever heard a voice that you knew was from God
I'll give you my experience
I was getting ready for bed after reading the Bible and praying and all I heard was "I love you" - I was alone in my room with the door closed
got back down on my knees and prayed some more :-))

For Christians... Do you have a problem with Harry Potter?
As a Christian I love the books and think most arguments are ridiculous, yet some believe it subversively leads young people to witchcraft. I think it's some of the best children's (pre-adolescent) lit. ever and will encourage my children to read it. What are your thoughts?

This will probably iritate some of you but even if you don't believe in God, you are still part of His plan. You think we are foolish, but it seems we are still able to confound you!!

1 Corinthinas 1:27 - But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

This is a question for Christians, mostly, but anyone can answer. Do you do good things because you are doing it for your reward in heaven? That if you are not rewarded for it here, God will bless you in the afterlife? There has to be more motivation than my faith tells me to. Do you get joy out of helping people and not expecting anything back? Answer honestly. If you lie it's not just to me but to yourself. Do you realzie that if you do it for any reward at all - here or in heaven - it is the wrong motivation? You are doing it for the wrong reason?

Lets ask the clever people what they think:

Mathematician M. P. Schutzenberger stated in 1967, "…We believe that there is a considerable gap in the Neo-Darwinian theory of evolution, and we believe this gap to be of such nature that it cannot be bridged within the conception of Biology

Sir Cecil Wakeley, KBE, CB, LLD, MCD, Doctor of Science, FRCS and past president of the Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain, admitted: "There is no evidence, scientific or otherwise, to support the theory of evolution

Evolutionist Dr. Paul Lemoine stated in an article, "Evolution is a sort of dogma in which the priests no longer believe, but they maintain for their people

A recent poll suggests that 65 percent of adults think there is insufficient evidence to support evolution

Do you need more quotes before realising what you believe in is just a big lie?

...or will you just ignore these fact???
