What us Creationist believe is that 6000 years ago, God created the Heavens and the Earth, created man in His Image, and created all the animals. And evolutionist call this a fairy tale.

But look what the evolutionist call fact. 20 billion years ago, rain fell on the molten rocks, forming a cooled and hard surface. It rained on the rocks for billions of years. Eventually life formed in the collected waters. So what evolutionist actually believe is that life came from rocks, and they call Creation a fairy tale.

So what do you think, did we come from God, or a rock?

How can i convince a friend to believe in God...
We always ends up in a quarrel everytime we talk about it....
Guys, help me what to do?
I told him already about the things that surround him - the air he breathe - the beautiful things, wonders he sees - who made it without God? Everything seems useless...

that half of it was based of a "vision" or what id like to call a schizo episode lol and that there are many other saviors during that time period that were crusified and ressurected? infact all of them deal with a birth of a virgin, son of god, healing the sick, etc. but of course why focus on them right...

The Bible that we all have today wasn't officially canonized until about the 4th or 5th century (correct me if i'm wrong on the date please). That means that before that, there was no official canon of scripture with which to study, learn or teach. Obviously, it means that the teachings of Christ were preserved in a different way: oral and written tradition. How then, does Sola Scriptura (bible alone) make any sense? Doesn't this ignore 300 to 500 years of Christian history? Further, with all this debate about biblical interpretation, isn't everybody debating a bible that was assembled and canonized by Catholic bishops in the first place?

How can you love others if you don't even have love for yourself???????

Well. I used to see it this way, until my eyes were opened and saw the simplicity of this question?

Let me ask you this? As you learn to love yourself more, what happens to your love for others?????
Remember, I'm just asking YOU AND ONLY YOU not the her, his, or others.......

You already know the answer in your heart, don't you.

Well, Buddah, says the first quote,.........and Jesus said something opposite to that?

It's a simple matter of what is the truth? Not which truth benefits me?????

Alot of the the answers you gave me to my questions are about how Jesus loves us and you avoid answering the questions. are you afraid that you may have to give up something you are used to to serve God? is the sacrifice to great to check out a fellow Believers info? did it occur to you that i truly am trying to share something with you that is true. or do you wish i had left it alone so you could live out your lives in blissfull ignorance? whatever your reason it is my Job as a child of God to give you th truth. shouldn't you check it out to see if i am right or wrong before you dissmiss it?

I seem to always want to have deeper relationships with people, and ignore the shallow/surface ones. I know that I am not connect with everyone, is it because I never got that deep connection with my own parents? Should I be getting this deep relationship with God? if so, how? How can i master shallow relationships, and actually look forward to them and seeing those people.

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
WHEN BEING POLITICALLY FREE AND INTELLECTUALLY FREE NO LONGER EXIST
WHEN OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS TAKEN AWAY AND WE ARE HELD SLAVES TO NEWSPEAK
WHEN THE LANGUAGE WAS DESIGNED NOT TO EXTEND BUT TO DIMINISH OUR RANGE OF THOUGHT HOLDING US CAPTIVES TO A CERTAIN WAY OF THINKING

ok ive heard that there is a missing link between man and primates. that got me to thinking.....
if man evolved from slime in a pond, theres more than one missing link. in fact, it seems like there would be steps in between slime and the finished product for every thing that evolved.

where are the in between steps for fish? what about dogs? cats? possums? birds? duck billed platy pusses? elephants?

the bottom line is whouldnt every animal have some fossil evidence of in between steps? weve dug up dinosaur bones that are supposed to be millions of years old, but no one has ever found bones from a halfway evolved skunk?....what gives?

This verse is about intolerance, exclusivism and hositility?

Matthew 8:21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
8:23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

I learned that 'Pharisees and Sadducees" were very cooperative with the Romans. So it shoots no wonder then if it is said that Jesus didn't want all of his disciplies tortured by the Romans when he asked Peter to put his sword back in its place. So, it was Jesus who began showing the "hositility, exclusivism and intolerance"?

If Jesus was as compromising as Pharisees and Sadducees and taught tolerance, he would not be so worried about his discipled being killed and tortured.

To many times people on here have said this or that about God, so now I am asking, what does God mean to you? To mean he is everyting. But what is he to you? Be honest, and don't let bad ratings corrupt your answer, I want to know. Evolutionists, what does God mean to you? Because after all, you know that somewhere, there is a God. And Agnostics, What does God mean to you? I know you might want to live your life day to day, but what if there really was a God...What would he mean to you? I personally love the Lord with all my heart. But I would love to hear what you think...
