How can you love others if you don't even have love for yourself???????

Well. I used to see it this way, until my eyes were opened and saw the simplicity of this question?

Let me ask you this? As you learn to love yourself more, what happens to your love for others?????
Remember, I'm just asking YOU AND ONLY YOU not the her, his, or others.......

You already know the answer in your heart, don't you.

Well, Buddah, says the first quote,.........and Jesus said something opposite to that?

It's a simple matter of what is the truth? Not which truth benefits me?????

If you are unable to love and accept yourself, then you are unable to love and accept others. Buddhism teaches a concept called "radical acceptance." This is about accepting yourself as imperfect and, therefore, being able to accept others' humanity, as well. I like the philosophy.

There is a difference between love of self and vanity. To be vain and full of yourself is not "love of self". True love of self produces humility. Pride is the opposite of love of self because it produces a false image of who you really are.

Love of self involves a recognition of one's limitations as well as one's good points.

You are attributing to Buddah something that he did not intend, and therefore, your argument fails. Sorry.

when i love myself more, i am definately more loving to others. when i am not caring for myself, i tend to not be as kind to others.

If you don't accept yourself, and love who you are, how could you understand love at all.
